Bowe had power but is it enough to put Norton on his heels and stop him cold? I don't know, that would be the deciding factor. If Norton isn't sleeping on the canvas after the first two rounds, Bowe is going to get tore up. He won't be able to avoid Ken or keep him off.
I think Bowe could potentially take Norton out early likely from about the 2-6 but if the lack luster Bowe shows up I'll still take him by a very close debatable decision.
Hard one. Ken can definitely box with Bowe, but can Norton take big flush shots from Bowe? That's the question. I think Norton outboxes him in general. Unless in Bowe lands something big, he probably wins a decision.
Does Bowe have the power to get Ken hurt and take him out...I think Yes but Norton had stamina and I am not so sure Riddick had the stamina to put real pressure and power on Ken...I think the key here is can Ken land early and hard on the pretty easy to hit Bowe I am leaning with Bowe to rattle Ken but if this fight gets into a Holmes/Norton like pace Norton may start winning the battle of attrition.....I am leaning with Bowe to get Ken out of there by round 5 but if he dont hurt Ken early Bowe himself will be getting hit and it could change things
The punch Norton's style is open for is the left hook. Bowe threw a good one when he bothered to throw it. what he usually did was to throw that wide looping right hand of his instead. a nice left hook off the jab gets the job done. But bowe never really fought that smart in there actually using his tools to the best of their abilities. Norton did a good job of that and I'd think it'd be a no brainer if Bowe was better conditioned and had boxing brains. So i think he doesn't utilize the left hook to the best of his abilites. On the contray, he gets hit by this guy and just turns to wanting to even the score which is that wide right hand. A straight right would be much better. I think Kenny's body assault does the job on Bowe and tears hime up as rounds go on. Might even see Bowe dropped late by one of those looping rights Norton threw, long after Bowe has been hurt to the body. But he'd get up with that big heart and likely make it to the end of the fight. I just see Bowe having a worse defense than normal against this opponent, if that's imaginable. I think those hard lefts and rights to the body--we're talking what 20 to 25 a round by Norton? I think that gives Bowe alligator arms by the 4th round. He'd cover up for the body by tucking and hunching in and give up his head even moreso. Anyone else see that? Norton decision in a tough bout because he'll weather a storm or 2 himself. Tough physical bout that takes its toll on both guys.
