Watching the post fight interview of Foreman vs Coetzer and Lampely interviewes Bowe after the fight and there were negotiations between Bowe and Foreman for a fight. How would Foreman have done if a fight came to fruition?

Bowe batters George but the old boy is still on his feet at the end.

    Does Bowe really batter George?

Bowe was still sharp at that point, I think he wins a decision. Foreman couldn’t pull the trigger against Morrison in his next fight, although Bowe would probably be standing right in front of him unlike Tommy. Foreman would need to throw combinations, and Bowe couldn’t get lazy. Very interesting fight IMO, wouldn’t want to bet on it.

Bowe gets a mid to late stoppage but I think Foreman would have his moments
They would rock each other. It might get dirty because that's how Bowe was at that time. It would be a bad look if he started fouling old George.

The reflexes of the younger man would be the difference. Foreman can't use his size vs Bowe. Riddick had more handspeed at that time.

There would be no need for Bowe to go so far as to knock out Foreman in 1993 when chinny Morrison beat Foreman on points.
If the fight had happened at the time of Foreman (Holfield fight 1991) Vs. green Bowe I would have favored Foreman.
How much Foreman is underestimated as a dangerous puncher is shown by the 1997 Briggs fight.

I think so. Certainly at that stage of his career. A prime for prime scenario would end very differently, imo. Bowe's leaky defence would ensure that he comes to grief against the 1973/74 model of Big George but he'd be too much for the venerable incarnation.

    Bowe by stoppage.
Foreman stated several times that he didn't want to fight Bowe and Lewis (and maybe Ruddock) and that's for a reason : he knew he had no chance against them.
Bowe is taller, had better reflexes, put his punches together very well and was far quicker/more fluid while having excellent power. He won't be bullied by Foreman physically.
I don't see how Foreman vaunted jab would have timed Bowe. Bowe was also a busy fighter, and that kind of workrate would prove too difficult for Big Georges.

I think so, too. George would stay on his feet, but his head would be a misshapen melon.

Bowe UD in 12, but George would provide a couple of heartening moments.

Would be an interesting fight in parts definitely,he always had that punch.
Bowe just too young and fast for him.

Oh wow, now THAT is a mouthwatering fight...and I'm not sure how it goes. Prime Bowe was fast, mobile, durable, dirty and had a lot of junkyard dog in him...I'd not be so sure young George takes him out.
