I would favor Bowe but I think this would be a bloody brawl.

Bowe stops him, but you're right this one could be fun while it lasts. Would not be surprised to see Bowe on the deck in this one.

Bowe at his best destroys Peter. Just a big strong bloke who could take punchs .Total mismatch

One-sided beat down for Big Daddy. Peter would be way out of his depth here.

Peter would be utterly pasted by Bowe.

I favored Bowe too. But I don’t think this is a mismatch. Peter was strong, durable and had a punch. Bowe was better but lacked defense. And his inside fighting style might play into Peter’s hands as opposed to a style that involves taking him apart from a distance. Peter survived to see the final bell in the first Wlad fight and even had him down. As he aged he softened up and was easier to take out. But I think the 2005 Peter could give the 1992 Bowe a decent run for his money.

Mr. Magoo my friend, I respect the hell out of your boxing knowledge and posts and always look forward to reading what you have to say. But for me, I just don’t see this one as being anything other than one-sided.

I add up the pros and cons of each guy at their absolute best and just about any category I can think of favors Bowe, and by a good margin at that. Much respect and admiration to you though sir.

Agree that this is not easy for Bowe. Bowe avoided big, tough punchers during his run and thanks to his leaky defence Peter will land his fair share.

Bowe likely wins but I do not see this as a one sided match. Not once in his entire career did Bowe beat a strong, durable puncher his own size who never backs up and keeps pressing the issue. Bowe should be favored on paper based on skill set and accomplishments, but it's hard for me to back Bowe with 100% confidence when he often had terrible defense and sorely lacks wins over hard hitters.

I could see Bowe struggling early on, then it becomes an even slug fest in the middle rounds, before Bowe eventually takes over and wins a slightly convincing decision or stops Peter late.

Bowe wins, but like some have correctly stated, this is no walk in the park for him. He has a fight on his hands & gets a hard-fought, late stoppage victory.
