If "Repeatedly dropping Wlad" (in a fight Peter lost) and "hurting Toney" both count as career highlights for Peter, then it kind of says it all, really.

In what many consider to be a failed career, Bowe's ledger is still superior to Peter's.
That is because, despite his shortcomings, Bowe is a superior heavyweight to Peter - and by a considerable margin.

Peter may very well drop Bowe with one of his hayemakers. But at the end, the technique of Bowe on the insight will prevail

Are we saying Holyfield can't deliver a hard punch now? He stopped better guys than Peter.

Chambers ? He was neither fast nor moved well against Peter. He was overweight and plodding. Holyfield stops him.

Holyfield is without doubt a more dangerous hitter than Peter because his speed could catch you unawares. Peter was a telegraphed puncher.

Furthermore, Peter couldn't land so much as a jab on Vitali Klitschko. How do you explain him having the potential to stop Bowe based on the fact he couldn't even land a single punch of any kind on Vitali?

I never said Holyfield can't punch, but he's not a world class puncher. He's about a 6/10 on average, maybe a 7 with his best combinations landing flush at best. This thread isn't about Hoylfield vs Peter, it's about Peter vs Bowe.

This isn't about Hoylfield vs Chambers either. And yes Chambers was fast.

Holyfield was a better boxer than Peter but he did not hit harder. Toney fought both of them and said Peter hit harder. It's pretty obvious. You can make all the excuses you want, Bowe never fought a big strong puncher his whole career. It's about styles. We should give Bowe the benefit of the doubt and favor him to win since he's much better than Peter overall, but we do not know how he'd do against a guy his own size who never backs off.

Bowe is not Vitali and has much worse defense compared to Vitali. The fact Peter had a hard time landing on Vitali is irrelevant. Everyone and their mom could land on Bowe.

Neither is Peters... NEITHER is Peters!! Who did he stop nobody , therefore he is not a world class puncher. . Do you see 6 foot Eddie Chamer going 12 roumds standing right in front of Bowe? Case closed.

Vitali is not Bowe. Bowe had a better jab and inside ability. Peter couldn't get past the basic jab and right hand of Vitali. Thats why he couldn't hit him. He won't easily hit Bowe either as he is gets blasted by jabs , right hands and uppercuts.

False . Gonzalez at the time had a 100% stoppage rate and a reputation of a fearsome hitter.

Bowe annihilated him. I see no difference between Peter and Gonzalez.
