I'm not sure how anyone could not get it. If Ali had all his losses and and just his wins over Liston, Frazier, Foreman and Norton do you think he'd be seen in the same light? Dozens of wins over genuine top 10 contenders would be wiped. Did all the wins over the likes of Patterson, Quarry, Terrell, Ellis, Chuvalo, Bonavena, Lyle and god knows how many others mean nothing? You have to be kidding.

You are right in that Leonard beating Benitez, Duran and Hearns (one would surely add Hagler) makes his resume great. Wins over all those other top ten contenders do not "mean nothing".

How many people have come undone against perceived lesser challengers? Tyson against Douglas for instance. Hearns against Barkley. Joshua against Ruiz. Hagler against SRL for that matter.

If you've somehow taken things as meaning Fury cannot have a great resume unless he beats these others well that's not quite what i am saying. If he never fought again right now tho his resume would lack depth even with 2 big scalps. Some might say yes that is enough while some might say Wilder was shyte and Wlad was a dinosaur. If however he goes on to beat Joshua and a few notable contenders only a fool would debate he wasn't a bonafide ATG.

Beating contenders on top of having great scalps always adds to ones resume. Look at Duran. He thumped contenders for years and years. Longevity, consistency, constant high level performances etc etc. Do you think if he had just the 3 fights with Dejesus and the one against Buchanan at or around 135 his record would be as good?

Longevity and beating mutlitudes of contenders on top of a few top flight opponents separates many fighters.

Douglas was in the top 5 when he fought Tyson right? Dubois is not(i talk about wbc,not the other joke belts)
And Dubouis has a full career against tomato cans.
Buster douglas had wins over oliver McCall, page, trevor berbick and tex cobb before he fought Tyson.

I was never talking about Dubois i was talking about legit top 10'ers. It doesn't really matter what you personally think of them.

Douglas was 42-1 and Ring Rated #7. He wasn't seen as any sort of threat at all. Lets keep it real - many see it as the biggest upset in history.

The majority of the top 10 aren't relevant? Okay...

Daniel Dubuis is a prospect, no one is saying he should fight Fury. Hell, he's not even the best prospect at the minute. He not even be top 3/5.

For me? Hrgovic, Makhmudov and Majidov have the most promise. They're better than Dubois in terms of ability but they've got way more experience than Dubois, so who knows at this point. I say let them grow, we'll have an amazing HW for a good 10 years anyway.

I know the names but Hrgovic is the only one I'm familiar with it. People on here saying hes robotic like the Klitschko's but then I'm thinking how's that bad if they were dominant champions? Isn't Makhmudov the guy that knocked out Wilder?

Fury can hold pace for 12 rounds. Heavyweights typically can't do this. It's what makes HW fights great they normally slow or gas and have to take rounds off.

When Fury takes a breather round he can still win it on the outside because he's so big. Or spend it leaning on you tiring you out. He can nullify like Floyd was a master of.

He'd out point Bowe heavily in the late fight.

I still need to see more of Fury. Wilder can’t fight I said it for years him getting exposed means little. Yeah I know many were high on him but not myself. The win over Wlad is far more impressive but Wlad was ancient. Fury is impressive - great stamina - great fighting spirit and great speed for his size.
I lean Fury in this matchup but I want to see Fury fight a few more times against good competition.

Fury did win every round in Wilder rematch and like 10-11 rounds against Wlad, if Fury decided to box and move against Bowe, Bowe would have no chance, he would not be able to cope with the unorthodoxness of Fury, feints, fast hands, switching from orthodox to southpaw mid combination making Bowe miss, come on man, there is no way he could deal with all of that, the only style that could troule Fury, is an effective pressure fighter and Bowe is a boxer puncher and would stay on the outside hesitant like when he fought Golota and was getting beaten up and like Klitschko did against Fury and I'm from the same city as you
