This one comes up fairly routinely.

I think Fury is the better fighter, but Bowe on his best day threw a lot of punches, and Fury can be a guy who picks his shots. Fury is the favorite with Bowe a very live dog.

Bowe is bringing 357's to the fight, Fury is packing. 22's.
I honestly think think that makes all the difference. Sometimes it's as simple as that.
Bowe won't be reticent like Klitschko was, and he's a better technical fighter than Wilder as well as physically more robust.

Bowe had a damn fine jab and great inside game.
Bowe can get overrated sometimes, but Fury is getting there, too.

Depends on how he beats Aj, if he absolutely destroyes Aj almsot 0 difficulty like he did Wilder then I'd come on here and say Fury is the best man to lace them up including Ali and Lewis. But if he beats Aj in a tough fight I'd still favor Ali and Lewis to beat Fury. But upsets happen when the reality of things is significantly different from the perception of things and that is what i feel would be the case if Fury fought Aj.

Fury is seen as the next All Time Great because he outboxed Klitschko comfortably and dismantled Wilder. His perception is on a high and Aj is seen as the stepping stool for Fury to achieve this status because bum Joshua lost to a fatso. But the reality is Aj has a better resume and achived elite level status quicker than Fury did despite turning pro well afterwards. The reality is that Aj is not Wilder and he is significantly better at putting his combinations together than any version of Klitschko and Aj has gotten better since old Klitschko passed the torch onto him in their classic life and death 2017 bout. He can pace himself better and can pick his shots better

It's all just opinion but im going to say that if that fight ever happens, Aj will beat Fury. Imo prime Aj beats any version of Fury, prime Fury beats any versiom of Wladimir and prime Wladimir beats any version of Aj

Both of them were inconsistent, but on their respective best days Bowe beats him up.

If both perform at their very best then i would take Bowe to give Fury a very uncomfortable night and Bowe wins by UD

I'd favour Fury. Stylistically I think he's problematic for Bowe.

Bowe had slow feet, smaller, less skilled boxers than Fury befuddled Bowe with movement and a jab. Tubbs, Biggs, 2nd Holyfield fight, even Hide until his glass chin got shattered. Bowe isn't out boxing Fury with his slow feet and lack of defence. Bowe's head movement wasn't great which is why he ate jabs so often even against guys with smaller reaches and he'd be eating Fury's jab all night.

Bowe needs to KO Fury if he's to win and as the first Wilder fight proved it will take more than one or even 2 hard punches. Bowe will need to grind Fury down to stop him and against someone as defensively savvy as Fury that's going to be hard. It's one thing cracking Fury with the odd hard shot when he loses focus it's another to do it consistently.

Fury wins a UD as Bowe is too tough to get stopped.
