I mean, I think Vitali would stop him, as he is exactly the kind of fighter that Bowe avoaided and looked like crap against. That notwithstanding, Bowe accomplished more, so I get it if people want to vote for him.

 

Prime Bowe wins wither by decision or late stoppage. Vitali would do well early on but Bowe would come on as the fight goes on. Vitali does not know how to fight on the inside and Bowe's body shots would do some serious damage. Bowe has the chin to take Vitali's punches.

 

Vitali doesn’t have a chance. Awful styles match up.

 

Bowe would get lumped up something awful on the way to a late ref stoppage. Let's face it it was hard enough to land clean on Vitali at the best of times, nevermind with Bowe's big whooshing overhands that Vitali would see coming from the next time zone. Bowe went a shade whiter and needed a change of underwear after Lennox wanted a piece of him. Vitali got his face ripped off by Lewis and still wanted more. Lewis ducked the rematch with Vits after one serving ... Bowe couldn't gather up the courage for one waltz with Lewis. These sorts of things tell me clearly who would blink first in this face off.

 

Lol if you can’t get past a notoriously tentative, washed Lennox Lewis you ain’t getting past a prime Bowe.

There will be no boxing. Vitali stepped up once and got outbrawled by someone who was panicking brawling an ancient Holyfield.

Vitali will run out of gas in 4 rounds and will get stopped from the brutal body work and slugging. He ain’t hurting an iron chin like Bowe either.

Show me a fight where Vitali got dropped.

Vits went 47 matches without either event happening.

Bowe on the other hand could both gas and be dropped.

People will pick Vitali because thats who they want to win , not who they believe will win. Boxing is mostly made up of simps and superfans

Meanwhile in real life Golota beat the bejeezus out of Bowe and wrecked his career. Nobody ever suggested Golota was better than Vitali

 

Have you watched the olympics? Bowe completely dominates the first round and has Lewis hurt at least AS bad as Lewis hurts him. The stoppage was very premature. My main take is it actually showed how much more talent Bowe had than Lewis.

Vitali was completely gassed against Lewis. Completely.

Bowe had very very good stamina at his best. Even when he came in fat he still threw loads. Very busy on the inside and jabs well.


Maybe if Vitali had boxed Lewis I’d see a case but he slugged and his lack of proper defense cost him.

I see no reason why it should be any different against Bowe.

And Bowe is a much better slugger than Lewis as well. Defense close in, body work, combinations, short punches etc Bowe is waaay better than Lewis ever was. Vitali’s grabbing against Bowe inside will just be such a mismatch that anyone who picks Vitali is plain biased.

 

I went with Vitali by a decision unless he suffers some fluke injury

 

Flip that.. He quits on his stool or he gets hit so much his face falls off.
Many guys went into fights injured. Many guys won fights injured. Fluke injury is excuse making

 

Golota hurt Bowe plenty even Tyrell Biggs hurt him where does this iron chin nonsense come from

 

Iron chins are identified by getting hit , not by avoiding getting hit. . Golota couldn't keep Bowe down or off him. Irons chinned fighters keep coming and coming.
