    Riddick Bowe, the 42-year-old former two-time world heavyweight champion, wants to return to action as quickly as possible and has Juan Carlos Gomez, who is expected to fight in Hamburg in March, in his sights. “I want to get back in the ring as soon as I can and Gomez would be a good fight for me,” says Bowe from his Maryland home. “He already fought Vitali Klitschko and now it’s his last chance to prove he belongs with real world class. I’m even ready to come to Germany for him if that’s what he wants. My legal advisor in Germany, Roman Kolaczek, is ready to set it up for me.” Gomez is under contract with Arena Box-Promotion who recently agreed a contract with the German broadcaster Sat1.

    1. Bowe should not be allowed in a boxing arana enless he has bought a ticket.
    2. That being said out all of the ill advised exheavyweight champions like Holyfield trying to regain past glory. I am kind of rooting for Bowe to be secsfull.

    Riddick needs to just be a fan he has already done seious damage and he will only do more if he doesnt stop.

    Loved watching Riddick but he is truly done and slurrs his speech badlly.

    Didn't look so good last time out against that German can.

    how is he still licensed to fight? Doesnt he have to pass physicals as well as mental tests?

    I find it hard to believe he could pass either test

    Bowe can't pass the simple eyeball test. You watch him spar or train and it's obvious he shouldn't be allowed in the ring. If they gave him a physical or a mental test the guy might wind up in an institution somewhere.
