I don't even read your borefest novel. Do you jerk off every time you reply because from the sounds of things you seem like someone who needs to sneak up on his hand to get laid. ****in kook! Hey, try to turn your computer off and get some fresh air outside.
Well the Bowe who fought Golota didn't prepare that well. Lewis was the original opponent in 1996 but the half wits still claiming Bowe ducked Lewis forget that Bowe was the one clamoring to make that fight in 94 and 96. BEGGING to rid the world of glass chin Lenny. I wonder if Bowe has forgiven Newman for that colossal blunder of a missed opportunity in 1993.
There comes a time in a person's life when you have to "seize the moment". Back in 1992 and '93, both Bowe and Lewis were undefeated and that's when the fight should have taken place. It was on Bowe to make that fight happen, more so than Lewis. At the time he fought Holyfield, I thought Bowe was a far more technically sound fighter than Lewis at that point, but looking back I think Lewis had a psychological edge over Bowe for whatever reason. Maybe it was his size, maybe it was because of what happened in the Olympics, I don't know. I also think Bowe's manager was too busy trying to turn him into a celebrity figure like Ali, (which Riddick didn't have the personality for anyway), and maybe was afraid of losing his meal ticket. I thought at the time, all Lewis had was that winging overhand right that you could see coming a mile away, and a glass chin. Bowe should have taken him apart and could have been the greatest heavyweight of the 90s. Now we'll never know. Had Bowe taken the fight and put the money away, he wouldn't be trying to make money selling autographs in parking lots as he is doing now.
Because you're a moron with a poor attention span - I know. So, you didn't read my post, but you entertained this^^ disturbing fantasy of yours anyway?? I really, really think you should take your own advice! You are clearly showing signs of stress about events, which you quite probably haven't lived through, and about boxers, who haven't the faintest idea who you are.
You may or may not be completely accurate about the purse disputes but the rest is over the top. Lennox Lewis fought everyone that would fight him .. his resume is packed while Bowe's is very thin .. Lewis beat him in the Olympics although I've always found the fight and stoppage a bit strange. Lewis was always in shape, Bowe was not. Lewis was without question the mentally stronger fighter .. Lewis chased him all the time for the fight .. I think Bowe knew his management and trainer had doubts and it bothered him .. who wins between the absolutely best Bowe and Lewis ? I don't know .. if the Bowe that beat Holyfield in the first fight took that experience and then fought Lewis while in top shape it's a potentially great fight and a tough call ... Holyfield, who knew both fighters very well says he thought Bowe could have beaten Lewis ..that said it is one of the all time great missed fights and it is not because Lewis ducked Bowe.
^^A classic case of projection, on your part. We all know you've been saving yourself for Tyson. (That's got to have been some years now... ... ...)
I'll type slow. If Lewis "ducked" Bowe, why did Bowe toss his WBC belt? If, as you say, Lewis "ducked" him, then Bowe could've just kept the WBC belt. Right? https://www.upi.com/Archives/1992/12/14/WBC-strips-Bowe-name-Lewis-champ/8245724309200/ Monday was the deadline for Bowe to agree to a WBC ultimatum to make a mandatory title defense against Lewis or be stripped of the title. According to WBC rules, a purse bid would have been set for Jan. 2 with the promoter bidding the most money earning the right to stage a Bowe-Lewis fight. The boxers would have had until Jan. 11 to agree to terms of the purse bid. But Bowe's renunciation of the WBC prompted Sulaiman to take action.
