Riddick Bowe's final KO

Marcus Rhode. You could almost just write in TKO1 or TKO2 when you signed to fight Rhode. (LOL)

If you scored a TKO3, it usually meant you were done.

Riddick Bowe's last KO win. Rhode was also Tommy Morrison's last KO win (for a decade, until breast implants Morrison re-emerged).

51 losses (44 by KO). Rhode saw the world ... just had to show up on fight night and go down in two.

 

But staring up to the lights, looks the same in China as it does in Germany or the US!

 

Rhode was probably the last REAL KO win of Tommy. The fight with john castle didn't look real to me and the matt fight was stopped very early.

 

Man, this is hard to watch.

 

Eight minutes of "fighting" in the evening ... free airfare, free hotel and you are freed up all day to see the sights. Not a bad gig, if you don't mind being away from home. Japan. Argentina. China. Canada. Germany. Vegas. New York. Boston. Houston. Philadelphia. Miami. And, if you are on a card with a big fight, you can stick around and watch that for free.

Rhode messed up in the Bowe fight, though. He stayed up when he got hit and went down when Bowe missed. (LOL) Must've been having an off night.

 

Rhode makes Louis Monaco look like an ATG.

 

Oh God, why.

 

Lewis should have offered the world to Bowe to finally make the matchup back then.It would have cost him a lot of money but it would have been a easy Ko for him and a chance to crown his career with Bowe’s name on his resume.

 

Can't wait to see Pat M talking how Rhode was way too big and technically sound for any pre-Ali HW.

 

Good performance by Bowe given the stage in his career and the shape he was in.

 

It's a sad story is Bowes. What could have been.

 

Dude was fighting Marcus Rhode its not hard to look good against him. An 81 parkinson's version of Ali would have been able to put Rhode away with ease.
