    Leonard will try to get it low to get Hearns to struggle. Hearns cannot even get to 175 now I bet. The fight is almost impossible now even with size. Hearns cannot get too low in weight, and Leonard would not fight a 200 pound Hearns.

    At this point who knows. The fight would not look like it did in 1981 or 1989 that is for sure. I cannot imagine how they would look fighting in 2010 in the same ring. Have two 50 year old legends ever fought each other 30 years after the first fight? It has never happened.

    According to Ray, Tommy did ask him to tour the country and put on exhibitions a few years back. SRL responded with; "Look at me Tommy! I can't get hit anymore by anbody." SRL told that story when he was promoting the first season of The Contender.

    Why would they do it then? Guys like Leonard and Hearns and Duran and Hagler were great in their day, but now is a different age and time. We need fighters now who are great like Pacman and Mayweather, not has beens like Hearns/Duran/Leonard and Hagler? Great fighters but it is time to move on and do other things. Can't they let it go? Fighting in their 50's is pathetic a little. They were all great but move on. What next Duran and Hagler fight and the winner fights Ray and Tommy? We saw them all fight each other in the 1980's. Time to move on. Get another career. Let Mayweather and Manny take over.

    By the way, the source was maxboxing on twitter which said TopRank is setting the fight up for April 17, 2010. Who knows if this is credible. Whoever is in charge of getting this fight made should be ashamed of themselves. This fight would make boxing look like a joke. Boxing cannot get two of the top guys in boxing now Mayweather and Manny to fight each other, so they will get two legends from 25-30 years ago to fight.
