Yes, Maxboxing's/Steve Kim's Twitter is an excellent and credible source for news. Thing is, this last update was Steve Kim ****ing around.

Come on, man...it's obvious he's making fun of Jones-Hopkins II and the cluster**** of fights taking place April 17th.

they aren't going to be any one's undercards. if anything hopkins-rj can be on their undercard. leonard and hearns ego won't allow that.

If it is a joke he should have specified it was a joke. It is possible that this fight could be made since Hearns always wanted it. I always got the feeling that Leonard and Hearns and Duran and Hagler (especially Hearns and Duran) would have kept fighting until they were 60 or 70 if they were allowed and able to have competitively.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Hearns would do this if he were 80. Leonard is too smart for it though.

This should make up for the collapse of FM-MP judging by the easily pleased mentality of a lot of boxing fans :rofl

I'd rather see Roy vs SRL and Hearns vs B Hop

Not 30 years after, but Azumah Nelson and Jeff Fenech fought a rematch recently when both were 50 years old.

Rumor is false. SRL was just on a talk show here in Dallas and he squashed it. He makes a good comfortable living outside of boxing. He said he has no need to put on a circus act for money.
