Current fascinated with Moorers' and Nakatani's use of their powerful left hands despite being right handed.
Any other fighters that are similar in this way?
I'll gladly accept the other way around.

    Its very rare.

Hagler was a right hander who fought southpaw primarily and while he had a great right jab and a big right hook, his southpaw left hand was merely good. Not great. And his southpaw left got worse as time went by.

Andre Ward was a natural left hander who fought right handed and his orthodox right hand was ok, not great.

Lomachenko is a natural rightie and he had a a good southpaw left. Not great power wise but great in terms of timing, placement, angles and variety.

Usyk has an excellent southpaw left and while some people think he is right handed, he isn't. He plays basketball left handed, he seems to write left handed etc. Usyk clearly appears to be left handed but because he is friends with Lomachenko, some people think Usyk too is a converted southpaw. But he clearly isn't.

The best example of a converted fighter with power in his rear hand or back hand is Terrence Crawford. Crawford is right handed who fights primarily as a leftie and while he isn't an exceptional puncher, Crawford clearly hits hard with his southpaw left hand. He doesn't flatten most people with one punch ko's with his left hand but he clearly has very good power with it.

Truth is it is extremely difficult for a naturally right handed person to develop great power with his southpaw left hand and it is equally difficult for a naturally left handed person to develop great power with his orthodox right hand.

This is why natural lefties like Gerry Cooney, Henry Cooper and Andre Ward (all of whom who fought orthodox) possessed excellent left hooks but didn't have great right hands.

And why natural righties like Hagler and Moorer had great right hooks but not great southpaw lefts.

Best natural rightie with a powerful southpaw left: Crawford.

Best natural leftie with a powerful right hand: De La Hoya

Zhang knocked out both Wilder and Joyce with some crazy right hooks even though he is a southpaw.

John Conteh was left-handed orthodox fighter. I believe he had a solid right hand (no amateur or early career footage available) but broke it so often he rarely used it afterwards.

Had a terrific jab and hook which took him to British, EBU and World titles.

Winky Wright was a southpaw that was right handed. He had pound for pound one of the hardest right jabs ever and dominated guys with that punch

Wasn’t Don Lee a right handed southpaw? Dangerous, very dangerous.

Jiro Watanabe was great with both hands. Naturally a righty. One of the best southpaws on film imo. Awesome offensive talent.

    Hi Fred.
The young Conteh not only had a good hard jab, he also was equipped with a vicious hurtful right, in fact he was a great all round boxer, I always felt that he was a brit that fought like a yank, I was present at most of his early fights, to be ringside and see and hear his punches was special, had and accurate, they were threw with bad intentions, his right hand did trouble him, but that was nearing the end of his career, his big mistake was not taking George Francis with him to the states when he fought the tough and tenacious Willie " the bull " Taylor for although he outpointed Taylor, he paid a bitter price, his hand would nerve be the same, Francis wrapped Contehs slender hands from the outset, and knew the right way to bandage the piano playing hands that god gave to him, I have had the pleasure of speaking to him on several occasions over the years, the first time he showed me the scars and displaced knuckles from numerous operations, not a pretty sight, he also complained about the early onset of arthritis, he was still bitter about the control the cartel had over british champs in the early to mid 70s, but recognised the folly of not taking George to America, and regretted putting his career in the hands of his brothers, and their associates, rated Sadd as the toughest, but had huge respect for Ahmuda, and said that had he not been in the best shape of his life, he was not sure he could have kept Jorge at bay, I found him a very honest and likeable man,and he was a very popular speaker.
    Stay safe buddy, chat soon.
    Mike.
