Which fighters during the 80`s would have had an answer to this effective combo? Any of the fab four?

All of the Fab 4 had multiple ways to deal with one combo, Mark.

It's is a brilliant and underused / undertaught one though. Catches a lot of people out and really develops torque in the second left hand shot. Napoles was also brilliant at it.

There were no fighters who could have dealt with this astounding, never before seen combination. Leonard would have literally gone into a seizure upon seeing this combo. Duran would be frozen in his tracks and beg the referees to stop the fight. Audience members would be collapsing in shock and/or fright

Duran was better defensively than Leonard was. In Montreal Ray would have been caught by this combo time and again, McCallum was a more technical fighter than Ray it`s just that Ray was so much faster.
