I said in your original post before this thread that I felt this way before. In fact many moons ago I wrote a post about both fighting once Haye ran out his options and Wlad running down his RTL contract.

    We can only hope.

I agree on this! Haye is very clever at playing games and i would not put it past them with a uk ppv prive of £29.95 they will make a mind blowing amount of money!!!

It's all obviously contrived, BUT they are not necessarily working together on it.
Both sides understand the benefits of delaying, and building it up even more, and expiration of TV contracts, re-negotiation etc. etc.
... but they might also be playing a real game against each other, psychological and financial. If so, it's risky, because it's unstable.
If it's fully contrived and orchestrated through a co-operative plan of action, then that's good and the fight is guaranteed.

All the big fights go through this, it's all build-up, but often the two teams don't conspire together enough, and that's when it all falls through.

It's only January and Wlad has already booked his entire 2011 schedule just to avoid Haye. Its unprecedented! Tomorrow he will schedule an October 7th fight with Tarver to make for damn sure he never faces Haye. The clown.
