Fury for me, I think he will dig it out, go into the trenches if need be and he has shown that he can do that. Price has yet to be fully tested and his heart and chin remain a doubt.
Yes he did, but he was 25 when he turned pro whereas Fury was only 20. If Fury wasn't going to turn pro until 2013 he may well have had as good, if not better amateur career than Price. I agree Price is good, but the experience Fury is getting by fighting a far higher calibre of opponent will, in my opinion, be the decided factor in a Fury win if they were to fight now. Maybe that will change in a few years, but Price and his 'promoter', need to get their act together quickly as Fury is well ahead of the game at this point.
fat slow powerless **** who is a disgrace to the sport coming into the ring in the shape he does...........................its not a prize fight for a ****ing all you can eat china buffet he is practicing for..............imagine if he was around in any other era of HW's he would be a ****ing joke but this era is so bad people are rating him................... give me ****ing strength.
I watched the whole fight.......and Firtha was doing zero to avoid Fury's jabs in the first 2 rounds.......no head movement, no gloves up defence.....nada! This allowed Fury to bust up Firth'a nose and gave all the confidence that Fury needed..........and as ever Fury's own leaky defence and perhaps too much self confidence cost him in that third round. Once Fury cleared his head........normal service resumed and Firtha even walked into some of the uppercuts. So yes Firtha was essentially a punch bag last night......who had no strategy to beat Fury other than to turn up and hope to get lucky when in close.
Been in muhc better dhape lately. 11 KOs in 16 fights. Goes to the body with a good deal of power. Again, when people talk of Fury, its like they are talking about a different Tyson Fury than the guy in the ring.
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4LJxv5WdQk&feature=related[/ame] Wlad was only a few years older than Fury here, look at the body, the footwork, the power. Fury needs to get into better condition, same with Helenious. They both look quite clumsy in the ring. Remember Wlad is only 3 inches shorter than Fury. This was before he became safety first aswell. You might not be a fan of Wlad, or even Haye but atleast these guys are devoted to being in shape.
thats the thing, you can look through price's previous fights and you can't really gather where he's at. its a bunch of rag tags and fat bums! his only legit test was against tom dallas, but even he only had 1 weeks notice. from what iv'e seen though he uses his height much better than fury and he has a fantastic jab and straight right. he has good footwork and can string his punches together. doesn't get involved in a brawl like fury and instead prefers to box at all times. thing is he's had a lot of success doing that against average bums who are all much smaller than him. whether he can keep a 6'9" fighter(with good power and decent chin) off of him im not so sure. who ever wins its just good for british, heavy weight boxing. those two are the best atm but guys like richard towers, derek chisora and sam sexton are decent supporting cast. definitely better than the last era of williams, skelton, and harrison.
give fury time to improve. you can't compare him to other heavy weights at the same age in their career because fury has had an unusual schooling in boxing. when i say unusual i really mean CRAP! he's been largly trained by his gypsy family and often he will spar with his cousins before fights. he had a few months with emanuel steward and he improved a hell of a lot. i actually think he has a lot of natural ability, but just need the discipline and knowledge of a top trainer to help him p[ut it all together. of course it goes with out saying he needs to get his fat arse in the gym and sort his stregnth and conditioning out. if he does all those things he will be one of the better contenders to take over from the klitschko brothers imo.
Fury is already trying to get another date for November. This guy is going to keep fighting, improving and learning.
Price doesn't use the jab, he holds his left out doing nothing and when somebody gets past it he is clueless. He has power but he doesn't work any openings himself which is why some bums have gone the distance. He's like this because he can't take a punch. Fury by KO.
David Price is a very tidy Heavyweight I loved watching him fight against Dallas ( and i know he took it late) everything he done looked quality
