Most importantly, he's willing to fight anyone, anywhere, anytime (any weight too it seems). Too much ducking/contract bull**** these days, not enough fighting.

-He has a very good skill set
-VERY good amateur pedigree with wins over notable pros
-He has the power (literally) that attracts casuals
-Always puts on a show, crowd pleasing style
    -Doesn't talk ****, doesn't need to talk ****
-Became a boxing success the hard way

Boxing needs more Golovkin's and less protected hypejobs; boxers that sell results and not an image.

He also exposes anything that's wrong with boxing... now he probably will be avoided even more.

Very impressive. He's a welcome addition to the middleweight division. You've seen guys like this get outboxed before by a slick fighter with great speed and Martinez, though getting up there in age is one of those type fighters. I also would love to see this guy square of against Chavez Jr. Nice move HBO.

Right on. Even if people avoid him like Pirog just did and Martinez, I'd happily watch Golo spark out bums and defend his title on HBO every month if need be :good
