Probably?! It takes balls for anyone to step into the ring. Tony may not be the next great thing but he's decent and adds a decent name to the British mix in the next few years. Lets see a rematch with Banbula and if he doesn't improve then he's really not going anyway. Also, Banbula is a lot better than his record and I know this 1st hand!
this is true about throwing both hands at the same time. ive never been impressed with jeffries i hope he can bounce back from this nightmare of the night but these olympians got to realise they get the hype and the good deals so they have to produce.
Rightly or wrongly, you do raise a fair point. It's up to Tony now to get back on track and prove the doubters wrong.
I doubt he's getting huge money from Maloney. He was the one Olympian who wasn't being hounded by every promoter in the country. He sells a lot of tickets so I'm sure he's paid much more than average young pro but then any fighter who sells a decent amount of tickets will get paid more than the average fighter! I agree he hasn't looked good yet but it's a bit early to write him off completely.
Adam for a fact... Tony is on a great deal more then any non championship professional boxer in the country. Regardless those calling him a bum and stuff on this thread should be more respectful. You should show more respect for fighters, end of.
