I'm off work and bored so here's a list of the fights that us boxing fans want to see. Well, that I want to see. I mean for ****'s sake even this list ain't exactly asking for too much - is it? Stick some of the fights on Sky Sports 3 or Extra I mean have you seen some of the **** on there? Throw our great sport a bone here, c'mon.

    Campbell v Bradley - Witter v Alexander Aug 1
    Donaire v Concepcion - Luevano v Concepcion - Solis v Johnson Aug 15
I DO NOT WANT TO SEE LACY V JONES JNR
    Diaz v Malignaggi - Klassen v Guerrero - Smith v Jacobs Aug 22
    Cloud v Woods - Urango v Bailey Aug 28
Mcdermott v Fury - Sep 11 (This is a Friday, this gives me hope it'll be a Friday Fight Night on Sky)
Klitschko v Haye (I know Sky have got this, I'm just keeping the ball rolling) Sep 12
    Mayweather v Marquez - John v Juarez 2 - M Hatton(?) v Judah Sep 19
Lopez v Mtagwa - Gamboa v ??? 26 Sep (this could be part of Sky's or whoever's build-up to JuanMa v Gamboa next year)
Abraham v Taylor - Froch v Taylor Oct 17 (I swear to god if this doesn't get shown...........................................:twisted::twisted::twisted::twisted::twisted::twisted::twisted::twisted::twisted::twisted::fire:fire:fire
    Dawson v Johnson 2 Nov 7
    Pacquiao v Cotto Nov 14
    Bute v Andrade 2 Nov 28

That is not a lot to ask for you money men out there. Us boxing fans are almost depressed at the lack of coverage or proposed coverage out there. DON'T MAKE ME COME DOWN THERE AND STAGE A PATHETIC ONE-MAN PROTEST.

    Have a nice day :hi:

Unfortunately, mate, I think we're gonna have to put up with s t r e a m s. All legal, of course;). The thing is, there are enough of us to put enough pressure on the networks but we, including myself, all moan about the lack of coverage individually. Just check out the amount of signatures on the Bunce facebook and petition. I know it's a radical thought but, personally, I think we could stand a chance of getting the beeb to televise the tourney- if it doesn't work they can scrap it as it's not a full time commitment like signing a contract with one fighter or promoter. Thoughts? After all we are all licence fee payers.

True regarding the tourney. Surely whatever network buys this is only buying rights to the tourney and not to rights for other fights involving Froch etc as that would become too expensive. The only thing is the gap between each card is surely not sustainable for an ITV or BBC to keep the fans and average fans interested in it. The marketing campaign would have to be substantial.

I dunno what kind of money would be involved in buying the rights but I really don't think the Beeb will stump it up. And the idea of an ITV ppv channel is ludicrous in my opinion.

I was foolishly hoping ESPN were gonna sort all of this mess out but I accept that now it's not gonna happen. Sky are all of a sudden mentioning Hennessey fighters on their website so that might be a clue as to where Hennessey is going after ITV ditch him. I hope to God they get the tourney- there is nothing more exciting happening in boxing at the moment, IMO. Not even a potential PBF-Pacman fight could top the tourney.

Sky will start showing a bit more US stuff from september i think, they only really pulled out when setanta came in.

half of those fights we would not have even seen in setantas haye day so do not expect to see them. Be nice. I was seriously looking into setting up a legal streaming site for international boxing but the figures did not add up.

I mean as a collective event it's much bigger and can't be ignored by the broadcasters. I'd still prefer JMM-Pacman III if I'm honest but keep that between you and I;).

Fair point but I am ****ing sick of being shortchanged as a boxing fan. I've been watching boxing for twenty years, I missed out on the Frank Warren/Sky relationship (coz I never had sky then with my folks) in the 90s and the coverage of U.S fights they showed too, delayed or not. Setanta came in and did a brilliant job and they really did listen to the fans but now we are in the ****.

I'm ****ing sick of it. A sport that is steeped in glorious histroy. Johnson, Tunney, Robinson, Louis, Ali, Frasier, Leonard, Hagler, Hearns, Duran.........have all made contribution to the sport that will forever be remembered. But how can the next generation be created and be remembered if we never ****ing see them? I do know of a stream site that is of a very good quality for a few quid but i wanna watch a fight on my sofa in comfort with a beer or three. Not on a PC, it's just ****ing soul destroying.

Again, true - when I go off on one I tend to lose control on what I'm saying but you get the jist. If the fights aren't shown then the sport will slowly slip away - as melodramatic as it sounds - yes we will have streams but as I said it's soulless and if that's what we have to watch then fair enough but some fans will be lost.

Couldn't give a **** about the Diaz-Malignaggi or Donaire cards. Not even too fussed about Juanma and Gamboa not being on because I know they won't be shown.

I would rather we get to see some Hayemaker shows as well. Groves, Rhodes etc can't just stop fighting.
