will you change your opinion of khan if he gets hit and not ko'd... even if its just a few times.... then the rest of the fight he keeps most of maidanas power at bay by keeping his chin away from danger with his speed and defence

cause lets face it, most people getting hit a few times of maidana flush will see stars

or will you just keep doubting him until he gets hit flush by a big puncher repeatedly ??

khans massive for a LWW... never mind a LW when he was obviously dehydrated to f*k

I hope that you're right for Khan's sake.
But I'll put my (v)money on Maidana by T/KO in december

I really dont see his chin improving, though im willing to be proved wrong...the Maidana fight will be the biggest test his chin has ever had.

    I have a triple on:

    Maidana T/KO Khan
    Abraham T/KO Froch
and my money maker Harrison T/KO Haye

British boxing on its knees, but I will be richer for it.

what if he isnt hit flush because of his speed and defence though?? will everyopne still doubt him until he's hit hard & full on in his face??

because not getting hit much because of your speed can sort of nullify a weak chin.... if he can use his reflexes, speed & defence to get out of the way of most shots then surely it aint to much of a problem?

A few clean shots from Maidana and Khan will most likely be in trouble...same goes for the majority of 140lbers. I'd rather see him outbox Maidana for the whole 12 rounds without taking any heavy blows...this would impress me more. Although I doubt that would satisfy the doubters of Khan's chin.

Khans sparring, amatuer and professional career is littered with knock downs, it's not all down to dehydration.

Once he's been hit clean again by a fighter with decent power only then will we know for sure. At least with Roach's guidance he won't be hanging his chin out like he did for the Prescott fight that's for sure.

Well at 140, we've not seen any evidence that his chin is better. So until we do, Khan's chin is rubbish. The de-hydration excuse is being exhausted now. Seriously guys, Khan was not that drained when he was put on his ass by a ****ing Limond!

Let's just cut the crap. The guy has a below-than-average chin. End of.

I think Khan will outbox Maidana as he is slow , one dimensional . However a puncher with any kind of speed will knock Khan out. Also Khan big for a LWW? that doesnt matter either way Khan cannot take a punch.

There's nothing wrong with being a bit 'chinny' if you have the skills to stop it being an issue. Wlad's chin is poor, too, but he's perfected a style that compensates for it.

What is it with Khan fans and the 'chin' accusations? You don't see Margarito fans trying to claim that he isn't a bit slow; you don't see Pac fans trying to claim that he isn't a bit short; you don't see Maidana fans trying to claim that he's a great slickster.

All fighters have weaknesses or elements of their game that aren't perfect or ideal. It's what makes the sport interesting.
