Seriously unless floyd has an off night i can't see how cotto is going to beat him :huh

Im not a big mayweather fan, but i am a boxing fan and i still think pbf is on another level to cotto.

PBF by decision. If Cotto gets sloppy in there and tries to lunge in, I wouldn't be surprised to see a KO.

I think he ill just bust him up from the outside and we all know floyd can fight on the inside just ask hatton.

He took hatton right out of his game plan, and out fought him

it was his adaptability, even though cotto is stronger at 147 floyd is just to damn slick :bbb

I think that Cotto is on his way to becoming a great fighter. But he isnt going to beat Floyd. It doesnt make him any less of a great to be fighter.

I say that because I expect Cotto to beat Margo fairly easy and fight either Floyd of Oscar in his next fight. I however think that he will lose to either guy, and many fans will start to throw around the word exposed or overhyped, and even BUM is its Floyd that he loses to.

Chances are Floyd wins by UD but I can't help but think Cotto could land a big combo & put PBF down & out. :D

I never thought Cotto had a chance to win against Mosley and he did.
I noticed Cotto`s style looked diferrent and he was faster in his last fight.
I would not be surprised if he beats Mayweather.

I personally think Cotto is all wrong for Mayweather. Just look at how effective Castillos pressure and body attack was on Floyd and Cotto is stronger, quicker and more accurate then Castillo hes the best pressure fighter out there arguablly. DLH had great success with the jab even though his timing was down. Cottos active and is consistent with the jab its so beautiful to watch him develop it over the years. Cotto has the skills to take it to Floyd plus his speed foot and hand it fustrates Floyd when he fighting a quick fighter which Cotto is. Miguel Cotto aint no damn Baldomir or Gatti.

Cotto would give the performance of his life, not leave the grinning Mayweather alone for 5 seconds, shock the boxing world with his ring generalship against a fighter the calibre of Floyd, weather a few stormy rounds and come out on top in a well deserved but close unanimous decision.

Cotto probably has the best shot of beating him but Floyd does everything so well I just can't see him losing. Then again if Cotto gets inside and manages to land a few of those body shots in combination ( rather than singles ) then maybe , just maybe !

skill wise, mayweather has an edge. cotto has some tendencies of letting his guards down. mayweather will take this by UD.

Must agree. I think the Oscar fight will show us a lot though. Oscar will be much better prepared this time, and will have enough for twelve rounds - if Floyd shows he can turn up the offense (see Hatton-PBF round 9) I think he carries that into a Cotto fight and outpoints him.
