Mosley lost to Cotto 5-7. If he came that close I guarantee Mayweather WILL outpoint Cotto. Also he won't be getting caught with counter right-hands over his jab like Mosley.

Ain't no Hatton either. Cotto's a real elite technical pressure fighter and would be the best that Floyd has ever faced. it's ludicris to favour Floyd.

Yep. You got the game plan. Taking away Castillo I, and only using Castillo 2 with a healthy Mayweather, and Mayweather vs Oscar at 154. Mayweather lost a total of 8 rounds in those 2 fights. Won 16.

So clearly pressure is the way to go. :nut

Please. Cotto barely beat a 36 year old Mosley, and has been knocked down more then the French military. Why the hell would he be favored over Floyd?

Cotto has proven time and time again to have a poor defense. Floyd is the most precise puncher in boxing today. Cotto was able to find Mosley because Mosley is older and slower and nowhere near his prime. Floyd is still in his prime and will find Cotto alot, while not allowing Cotto to find him. I feel a 154lb Oscar is more of a threat to Floyd then Cotto.

PBF will beat Cotto with little problem. Uncle Roger and PBF will have a gamplan.

Mosley is no joke, even at 36 years of age.. Why do people act as if Mosley is just some walkthrough? :blood

He isnt. I have him ranked number 3 Welter in the world ahead of Clottey, Marge and Quintana. But he made a competitive fight with Cotto when it was obvious he was a shell of his former self. He was slow, and Floyd is still blazing fast. Floyd is a whole nother level to Mosley. Eveyrthing Mosley does, Floyd does better. And I dont see Cotto getting a close UD over Mayweather, I dont see him landing anything particularly meaningful on Mayweather.

Like many I think this would be a cracking fight between two of the best boxers in the world. But, I've said it before and I'll say it again, Floyd could knock him out late on.

I'm interested to see whether Cotto has got some of his defensive weaknesses sorted in the Marg fight, given that the Gomez fight was such a mismatch you couldnt really tell!

exacty and not to mention cotto is the same height or shorter his jab will mean nothing. Hatton has an unorthodox way of attacking cotto is a basic hard punching guy he is not capable of bullying mayweather and if he tries to box he's going to get the gatti treatment
