Interestingly enough, Rigondeaux has actually fought in the FW division before against Lante Addy in his 4th bout, never at 118.

This is the closest a fight gets, as far as I'm concerned.

Most fights, you can see it play out somewhat in your head, but these two are so good that it can play out 100 different ways.

Agree with the above poster re biggest fight in terms of combined skill.

It's not hard to understand.. Lomachenko wants to fight at 126, that's why Rigo is coming to 126. Walters was welcome to fight Loma at 126. Lomachenko was looking at Vetyeka before Rigo (also not a belt holder) as there are no possible 126 belt fights available for Loma since Walters decided he was too fat for 126. He's taking the best possible fight at 126. Moron.

Going to be hilarious seeing Rigo try and backpeddle the whole fight against someone with the foot movement and speed of Loma. Rigo is going to get chased down and his Glass Jaw shattered.

Totally agree everybody know the 145 reason of facing Walter the issue is not the belt much safer to call out smaller fighter and force him into your weigh division.

Agreed, why would he duck an inferior fighter for a superior one? That's nonsensical.

Loma schools Walters, Rigo fight is far more interseting, if it was up to me I'd choose the latter ANY day.

Loma never wanted to face Walter not because he's super talented it's a rare specimen 5'7" 145 pounder hard puncher Loma learned a lesson with Salido.

Bob Arum wanted the fight with Walter 1.4 pounds is not a reason or excuse to avoid a fight Loma's manager did not want the fight reason remember Salido.

They didn't want the Walters fight after Walters lost his belt. The Walters fight was ready to be made until Walters missed weight.
That's all there is to it, and it's completely on Walters for that fight not happening. Acting as if Lomachenko is scared to face Walters... You obviously haven't been paying much attention to what Lomachenko is about.
Rigo despite being smaller is a far superior opponent to Walters and has a far greater chance of the upset.
