    Belts mean jack **** nowadays lol. It astounds me that people think Rigo, just because he has good amateur record can fight 9 times, bring nothing at all to the table and get a shot at stardom. It just isn't happening. BTW I want to see this fight just as much as you do, but can you really blame Donaire for not taking it? I can't. In fact I'd be surprised if he did.

    Nope, Nonito did not qualify for the olympics. He was beaten by Viloria in the finals for the US team.

    exactly, belts don't mean jack, that's why Donaire fought for one that was vacated, and to me the quality of the opponents means more than the belt that they are fighting for, so right now the Jap is #1 in the 122lbs division and Rigondeaux #2, I'll say if GR fights and beat the Japanese fighter, Nonito should fight GR no matter how many fights he has, and that my friend is the point, you don't need 100 fights against bums, if you are the real thing you go for broke...
