Rigo has the more impressive win for sure. But Donaire wasn't in his best weightlcass at the time. Rigo is also a lot older now. I think Inoue wins this fight by stoppage.
That was slightly painful. There's a crowd yabbering on in the room, something like an air raid siren is going off. Rigos translator looks like he's just ran out of cocaine and he just found out his mom died.
I'd have to see what Rigo has left. He look liked **** in his last two fights, just plodding, and standing in a phone booth, not using defense at all. If Rigo can still box a bit, he could beat Inoue. I'd make sure he isn't made to wear those pillow like Winning brand gloves though. Had Donaire been allowed to wear his preferred brand of glove, Inoue would have likely been KO'd.
Inoue would probably stop Rigo now. Forget all this bla bla bla talk about peak Rigo, that time has gone and passed. He would get stretched out now.
... Is this the clout chasing thing people like to talk about? ... Poor guy is going to retire when Solis beats him anyway
Can Inoue deal with the slick Cuban style? Inoue has a history of suffering broken orbital sockets, Rigo has a history of breaking orbital sockets and Japanese fighter's ones at that. But then again Rigo pulled a no mas against a Loma who didn't even move out of first gear, let alone into Matrix Mode. What happens when Monster Power collides with Cuban Glass? So many questions
