    Actually I think the fight now actually stands a pretty good chance of happening. The only real issue is timing. If Rigo won't take the March date I figure there has to be a good reason but I want to hear it, IF it is even true.

    Update: Seen that Rigo will fight in February and is promised a June clash with Donaire. Might just want the tuneup since he has been out for a while?

    Said drug testing isn't an issue. No mention of the March offer.

    Donaire fighting Chris John is a good idea. John is a solid Asian fighter that would boost Donaire's reputation if he could pull it off. The people behind Donaire believe in him fully. Donaire fights three times a year so he could put John and Rigo behind him before facing Mares in December.
