Remarkable, 2 of the greatest amateurs ever in the pro-ranks at the same time and nearly the same weight. It should be every boxing fans wet dream, but instead all we get is some grade A bitc#ing.

Let's just enjoy watching them fight and see how their careers go. If they should ever meet in the ring, so much the better.

So with his career trajectory say he beats Salido, Russell jr. and Rigondeux by this time next year, we still can't say that he's anything? 4-0, get some pro experience Lomachenko, you're just a prospect still.

No he didn't which is why I listed both fighter achievement, also did you mis the most decorated Amateur boxer in the last 30 years.

    Rigs has over w 475 12 l total fights 483 lomachenko has w 396 1 l total fight 397.

Regardless of the losses Rigs is far more the experiences and in my opinion is a more complete fighter after see both fighter perform.
Lomachenko is a bit reckless when he comes forward and throws his combos, which tells me he is a little over confident in his punching power. He almost charges forward.
Second he is al most purely offense , but from what I see he is a good offensive fighter .

Rigs I feel is better balanced in both offense and defense.

You know why fans feel the need to **** on each fighter is because you got morons posting the most ridiculous threads stating this person sucks, Loma is GOAT, Loma can beat anyone in the world, Rigo boring, Rigo is P4P best fighter in the world, there the most talent boxers that ever lived, etc etc and list goes on. That's how these arguments get started and that's why people start bashing one another.

It would be a good fight, but at this point I would still go with Rigo.

Maybe Lomachenko will do something that changes my opinion in the future, but I believe Rigo is one of, if not the, hardest boxer to tag cleanly in the sport.

Lomanchenko's southpaw style could make it easier for him or easier for Rigo, depending on how each adjusts.

I don't know how Lomanchenko fights against southpaws, but if the way Rigo fights in general, and Loma fights against orthadox fighters is any indication, I would pick Rigo.

Maybe we'll see in the near future.

I just don't think Rigo would be active enough and throw enough punches to win against a guy like Loma.

Rigo is in his thirties, a career superbantam. He is tiny, a wasp-waisted guy who probably walks around at 125ibs approx. Loma is much heavier. All this talk of him and Loma is just that - talk.
There is more chance of me meeting Elvis....

Lomanchenko's amateur record doesn't mean **** to anyone but his fans.

If Lo's people think that he's ready for Rigo, Salido or Garcia, make those fights next. You can talk confident about your boy all you want, but I'm not sold on him yet. He has not fought ANYONE yet.

At least Rigo beat Donaire. And Rigo needs to do more. These guys get propped up early in their careers to no end, and have not even been in 1 war yet.

Rigo has not been in 1 war yet.

Opponents bring all kinds of styles against you, not just the tailormade guys.

I want to see both guys face formidable opposition. Right now I'm a lil bit more sold on Rigo, and not sold on Lo.

rigo and loma are way too smart to war, that's for low skilled brawlers. They are gonna box all day and there is nothing the opponent can do about it.

    Rigo can counter.
    He blends offense and defense.

Loma covers up until you're throught punching.

If they fight Rigo will kick Loma's as.s something aweful.

Rigo throws 25% of the divisional average of punches a round. He is not active enough to beat a bigger fighter like Loma. His Chin is also weak hence the reason he fights like he does.

You didn't list his achievements. Roy Jones "Lomachenko has the best amateur record I've ever seen".
You've only seen one Lomachenko fight? I'm a Rigo fan as well but he can't fight on the inside like Lomachenko or throw combinations like Lomachenko can.
