Boxing fans all over the world and the public got very excited before Loma vs Rigo took place. Everybody expected to watch a competitive fight but it was Rigo who spoiled everything. The Mega fight turned out to be the garbage fight because of him. So he has brought the boxing sport down and nobody wants to watch this boring fighter anymore. NOBODY!!!

I've always been a Rigo fan, but after that quit job I no longer care about him. I'd be fine if he retired. Unless he's taking on a top guy I won't bother watching him, yet he doesn't deserve another big fight.

I don't think his poor effort against Loma means he's not good though. I think he'd school Rey Vargas at 122. And I'd still favour him against the best featherweights, Russell, Frampton, Sant Cruz. I still rate him top 10 p4p for that reason. But at this point unlike before I have no problem with every top fighter close to his weight avoiding him.

It's not Rigo's fault he's not as good as Loma. It was never going to be a mega fight. Loma was schooling him like it was nothing.

What damages Rigo now is his childish excuse of the broken hand. Fact is he wanted to quit and find a way out. That's inexcusable to most boxing fans. So yes, his career is in tatters and boxing fans likely won't forget the lie.

If he simply was overwhelmed and stopped in the fight, if he went out on his shield many fans still would hold him in high regard. But not like this.

Don’t be foolish. Most of the big names, who have big time promoters (Master Al, Arum, Golden Boy) backing them, will use Loma’s dominance as justification for continuing to ignore Rigo. I think it’s sad to rely on another man’s accomplishment to justify your position. Santa Snooze, Mares, and Frampton come to mind.

Case in point: Frampton is negotiating a fight with Donaire for April. Donaire’s best days are behind him PLUS he’s a victim of 2 of the most famous No Mas Chenko victims, Walters and Rigo. April gives Rigo plenty of time to “recover” from the “hand injury” and still be ready to make the fight with Frampton. Frampton doesn’t wanna take that L from Rigo, plain and simple.

BS. He lost to Loma. So will anyone at FW, SFW & LW IMO

He'd still kick most of the FWs asrses...

He got one of the best wins of the past ten years over Donaire. That alone legitimizes him. Plus FW & SBW ran from him like the plague .. Except Loma LOL

If Frampton beats Donaire, certainly when clearly, that could be a nice matchup.
Or maybe a Walters grudge fight, as he made fun of him after he pulled a "no mass" against Loma before Rigo himself did.

He just got the **** humbled out of him in front of millions and needs to recover from that. Rigoblin will return in about a year.

Rigo, the Twitter King, has not Tweeted once his he quit... Did Lomachenko retire him on social media as well?

You’re giving Leo and Mares way too much credit. Santa Snooze has become a diva. Case in point, Frampton came to he US and beat him. Frampton did the honorable thing and granted Leo an immediate rematch. Santa Snooze lacked the sportsmanship to return the favor to a Frampton and travel to the UK for the fight. Then he wins the rematch and does not grant an immediate rubber match to Frampton. Also, I never hear him mention Gary Russell Jr. as a possible opponent. I’m not a Russell Jr. fan, but I do believe he beats the brakes off Santa Snooze.

As for Mares, he is on record admitting that Rigo beats him.
