    After his first bout under promotion of Roc Nation against Drian Francisco (10 round UD), Rigo had this to say;
    Fransisco on his turn called Rigo a runner, and it seems like that was the general concensus after the fight. Rigo seems to have gotten the memo that RN expects more for their huge investment...
    What do you guys think? Do we get an "explosive" version of Rigondeaux in his next bout? :toney

    Bad investment from roc nation. Signing a 35 year old bantemweight to a 4 year contract who can't draw flies to poo and who love boring the life out of everyone

    Well to be fair, he was on the shelf for quite some time. If he's able to get back to his active fighting ways and can fight 3 times annually, I'd expect a better performance from him the next time around.

    I still find it baffling that Rocnation threw all that money at him, but he is a terrific talent P4P. Unfortunately opponents still deem him as a very high risk/low reward type of fighter.

    He was on the shelf because he hired a bunch of imbeciles in Caribe who turned down fights. That's HIS fault.

    Rigondeaux just bores me now. I know it was partially ring rust and not having the full focus of a known fighter to prepare for, but this was a farce.
    I used to love watching Rigondeaux and his subtleties, but this wasn't the Rigo I used to see.
    Lomachenko would have KO'd Rigo of last night.

    Sound like he's planning to do his touch gloves surprise. The only explosive he ever came close too was ticking his opponent into touching gloves and popping them.

    So he couldn't stop a guy who was sparked out in one round by Jason Canoy who will be the first professional opponent of the 18 year old Hinata Maruta. Pathetic.

    Canoy LOST to Maruta! Maruta dropped him in round 3, rocked the **** out of him in round 4, cut him very early as well.
