I can't believe people are saying he should fight at 118. Why not just send his ass back to 106?

I mean, that way he can fight for quarters.

The dude is usually in the ring at 123. He could and, if the money is there, should make 118 and fight Yamanaka. Or even 115 and Inoue. He'd be cutting like 7-8lbs. Absolutely nothing.

And fight for quarters? He got $500'000 to fight little known Amagasa in Japan. The Japanese pay their fighters decently and appreciate the little guys.

The fact is, Rigo can beat all the guys at 126. Rigo is a double or triple Gold medalist.

Average fighters don't win double or triple gold medals.

Dude can fight at 126 and win, but the problem with fans today is they want people to play it safe and not give the fans the fight they want and deserve.

Rigonduex is small. I have met him in person and assuming the women he was with was his woman, she was a lot bigger and stouter than him.

He has been banned from TV and will have to move up a weight class and fight a name opponent to get on a Network. Nobody is going to put him on unless he does that.

I'm amazed that Rigo walks around at 122 which seems to be a commonly held opinion.

He pretty much lives in the gym year round, staying on weight. He's one of very few fighters to do this. May and pac do it.

If you follow his facebook page even when he hasn't a fight scheduled he posts something showing he is on weight etc.

And his in the ring weights too.

I forgot that you can't post pictures here ffs. Well, in the links are screenshots of his in fight weights

Rigo was reportedly 125 in the ring against Donaire but it wasn't shown on broadcast due to NYC rules.

Weights were also not shown for Ramos but he weighed in at 120.5 showing he was light.

Against Agbeko he was 123 in the ring IIRC, I can't find the fight online though.

If Rig's was 5'6, I would agree. He isn't. Rig's is like 5'2.5 to 5'3, and doesn't re-hydrate much as it is. It's high risk low reward for a guy that won't be getting million dollar pay days to be outweighed by more than ten pounds, and be 3 to 4 inches shorter than all his prospective opponents at 126. Besides, you know damn well the powers that be likely won't let him win a decision against certain guys. He will definitely need to win by KO to ensure he isn't robbed.
