    Rigo outlanded Donaire in 11 of 12 rounds and also landed the harder punches all fight. Surprisingly, Rigo was the busier fighter as well.

    Long time ago, Larry Merchant had said that 95% of the time a boxer wins a decision, he threw more and landed more punches according to Compubox. Interesting stat.

    Yeah, my thoughts exactly. I trust my eyes more than that ****, but it was glaringly obvious who was doing the damage. That's why I can't understand guys like Gander saying Rigo wasn't landing anything clean. Just either shockingly biased, blind or completely lacking in knowledge of what constitutes a clean punch, although you'd think it's fairly obvious. :conf

    Haven't seen one person dispute that. Is it really something to brag about throwing 33 punches a round though? :huh

    At that weightclass they usually throw four times that a round.

    That is where the issue is. It was a cautious boring fight for that weightclass. Hell, that would have been low for a Heavyweight fight these days :rofl:patsch

    When did I say Rigo didnt land anytihng clean. Reading comprehension here dude. I'm just saying he didnt land a lot, and neither did Donaire. I'm not disputing who won.

    And we all know compubox is absolute bs.

    Fair enough, I'm sure you didn't mean he didn't land ANYTHING clean. However I think it says a lot that you think he landed very little clean. Most people saw the complete opposite. He landed a lot of clean counters and led off quite a bit more than people seem to think.
