Rigo, himself a southpaw, must over his long amateur & professional career, had fought numerous other southpaws. In most southpaw vs conventional fighter bouts, the southpaw has a big advantage. But against the bigger & fellow southpaw Loma, Rigo seemed to freeze up and not know what to do. Were there other southpaws in the past that troubled Rigo?
Yeah, Ricardo Cordoba is a southpaw, and he gave him quite a few problems in the 2nd half of the fight after he dropped him midway through, with IIRC a jab no less.
I saw it live, it was... believe it or not, on yet another PPV. The undercard of Pacquiao-Margarito. Never has a more PPV unworthy fighter been on so many PPV undercards.
Because he is right handed, and the lead hand becomes more important in a southpaw vs southpaw clash.
