Sorry but the best amateur ever was Teofilo Stevenson (also Cuban) and the best pro ever is Sugar Ray Robinson. There are such huge consensus on this that those statements are ALMOST facts.

I'm a psychic, they call me James the Octopus round here.

    These things i know:
They will both hit the canvas
A controversial decision will be the outcome
Rigo will be cut above the left eye

uh yeah, rigo always drops his right hand when he throws his left, indeed - perfect defence against left hook. And B-level fighter marroquin landed two clean left hooks on rigo...

I feel kind of bad for Rigo because if he gets knocked out, his career will be in serious jeopardy. Dude is 32 with over 300 fights and left his family back in Cuba... how will he be financially if his career crumbles?

He's getting paid $750,000, that's enough to live off as a King in a 3rd world country plus the fact it's a communism country makes it even more lucrative.

This acually makes me think about when Stevenson and Ali was about to happen.

We really should be grateful for this fight.

some great fighters were better professionals and not much amateur experience like Tyson or Duran. Others like Breland were spectacular at amateur and really not good at professional. Being a great amateur in no way means a guy will be a great professional. It is almost surprising how many great amateur fighters did not become great professionals.

lol, wow what a lousy stance. I understand that Riggo wants to stand strong and be at a position of strength, at least in argument, but...

THIS IS THE WRONG ANGLE LOLOLOLOL

Exactly what relevance does amateur accomplishments have at this point and juncture? NONE
