Rigo was just a left hand. He didn’t even have a jab. Loma took away Rigo’s left hand, standing right in front of him, and all Rigo had to fall back on was to fight dirty. When he couldn’t fight dirty he quit. Wake up, people.
if we're talking about their exact selves in the ring at their respective times and not pep's transformative version to modern times, rigo takes it.
37 year old Rigo vs 37 year old Pep. Rigo wins easy. People act as if it wasn't a 37 year old vs a 29 year old when Rigo fought Lomachenko lol.
Pep is one of the greats. Rigo will go down as one of the flops. There's levels and Pep is many levels above Rigo. He'd make him quit like a coward again.
What about Rigo v Broner? Weightclass doesn't matter as both will do their best to not throw any punches
Prime Willie Pep had no superiors there AkbarOne. Get off your stupid alt And Loma is too skilled and has too much heart to be made into anybody’s son. Now your hero Rigondeaux “Rigs” on the other hand... He was begging his corner to stop the fight because Vasyl was toying him. Lol! Dumb little troll talked years of **** too.
I was wondering how the hell Rigo got so many votes, but then I realised this was BEFORE he got schooled and quit like a ***** against Lomachenko Pep is in a totally different league.
I keep hearing today's training is far better than the old days. But today's fighters don't go 15 rounds and fight 70 to 100 times in a career. I can see the science being better. Diffrent technique. Video is widely used, but physically, I don't see an advantage in today's fighters.
It's also as much or more about the talent and work ethic within the man as it is the science of the training. Cream always rises to the top
