I'm not hating or anything, and think Rigo would be competitive with the Great Willie Pep, but you need to slow your role WAkbar Muhammad!!
Didn't say you were. Most people on this forum realize people have differing opinions regarding the sport. You think Pep would outbox him. I saw that he couldn't outbox flat footed plodding Sandy Saddler, most times they fought, so I don't believe he could outbox a slick mover like Rigondeaux, who has impeccable timing and accuracy, along with slick defense as well. Not to mention with those old school gloves Rigondeaux would seriously hurt somebody. Your wife enjoys my Ak bar frequently
Why is having knowledge of a fighters shitty opposition through 62 fights viewed as a negative thing? lol. Is it because it doesn't let fanboys put forth a false narrative? Being unbeaten through 62 fights sounds good on paper, but when you haven't faced hardly anyone through 62 fights it doesn't really mean much.
Many champions had their stretches of "shitty opposition" during some stretches. Ask Joe Louis (Remember that Bum Of The Month Thing) and Larry Holmes. Currently Wilder is the main culprit of this. Lol How about you give a detailed analysis of why those 62 fighters Pep beat in a row were all "shitty"??? I'll give you a little bit so you can frantically find negatives of those fighters there box rec reject
You don't have a bar, it's more of a nub...lol... no wonder I call you WhAkbar, Cuz you're Whack, buddy!
I don't disagree with the bum of the month thing, or that Wilder is milking his title against pastry chefs, street toughs, bums, cans etc. He's only faced one legit opponent to me and that was Stiverne. Scott took a dive against him so that doesn't count. Because it's the beloved Willie Pep, his opponents having records along the lines of 48-32, 17-43 etc. don't mean they were shitty. Yeah okay. Those first 62 are filled with all types of, bums, cans, journeymen etc. with bad records. I guess because it's Pep, we have to say those shitty records mean those guys had Mayweather type skill.
False narrative? Kind of like the fighters averaging 30 losses? I wont go into a discussion with you on this because the fact is you know absolutely NOTHING about Peps level of competition outside of some numbers on a screen. Contrary to popular belief numbers lie all the time. I wont be responding again to anymore of your idiotic posts so dont bother responding.
I asked for you to give a detailed breakdown of why Peps 62-0 record before his first loss were all "Bums, cans journeyman etc." You're familiar with all their skill levels huh? Study a lot of tape and know the history of all those guys?? And Peps overall record was VERY impressive. His skill level was OBVIOUS from all the footage. If you can't appreciate that then you're dumber than your alt username.
Pretty much this, you have to realize there's a lot of bias on here I wouldn't take most of what is said seriously here, great breakdown there's no way pep probably could even string more than a couple of landed shot's on a slick technician like rigo, let alone make it competitive, I'll check that saddler fight out any footage?
Pep was better than Rigoduche ever will be. And it's not bias there dummy.. it's people that know boxing voted and favored Pep. Rigoduche will never reach Pep status
