Rigondeaux banned from HBO for being too good?

    HBO and Top rank are the same Thing. If Top rank or HBO don't want a fight it won't Happen. What other promoter does HBO use? Any? Rigo will be fine. He may have to take a paycut to fight on another network but if he wants to fight he will have no problem. People act like HBO and Showtime are the only boxing Channels. How about, Sky sports,Box nation, POLsat,Tv Publica,ESPN,

    HBO uses every promoter but GBP. Rigo is banned because his fights are boring. He doesn't throw enough punches and circles the ring the whole fight. This isn't some conspiracy.

    I agree that rigo is not exciting. I just think he can get fights on other stations because he is very talented. Like sky sports and Box nation. The brits are more interested in pure boxing Than USA.

    what a shame!!, that's one of the biggest problem today in boxing the tv networks!!

    i hope we can see for example in another network Rigo vs Mares fight!!

    Rigo is way more exciting than Hopkins...and they have no problem putting Hopkins on.

    Hopkins brought in strong ratings. Regardless, Hopkins, along with the rest of GBP, is banished from HBO.
