Anyone who thinks this is a mismatch has not seen the Cordova fight.

 

First of all, Rigo controlled him and outboxed him the entire fight. That fight should not have been a SD. Second of all, that was one fight, and it was not even like it was his last fight . He clearly showed how he could change his style to better suit him for the pros. Third of all, im am willing to place a lifetime ban bet on that Rigo beats Donaire... Are you?

Yea that same one that outboxed that former world champ in his 7th pro fight, then came back and didnt break a sweat with Euro Class Casey and turned around and took home a world title in his 9th fight. He aint green...Has a huge AM background...looked great as a pro, an awkward counter-puncher that would cause Nonito problems. Having said that i think Donaire can win, he would just need to fight right fight and stay the hell away from getting hit with unessasary shots like tonight!
