You act like Rigo is dead.

Rigo is clearly still a great fighter. He has the power to hurt his opponents.

There is no reason why he doesn't move up in weight and face guys especially considering he has the power to hurt them.

He'll make more money and it will be great for the fans. Great fighters do this and have done this for years.

I think that Rigondeaux is too small for 126lbs. If LSC, Frampton and Quigg refuse to fight him he should move down in weight and fight the Japs. He can also fight Moreno at 118 lbs and hopefully Inoue real soon!

Lomachenko and specially Walters will have a massive amount of weight advantage on fight night over Rigondeaux.

Gosh damn, find a new sport.

Who the f uck wants to watch Rigo beat a bunch of outmatched opponents?

If Rigo doesn't want to make any money in his career and you don't want him to make any money in his career, then of course, fight small guys in non-competitive fights.

You act like Rigo got his ass beat last fight. How many rounds did he lose?

    He took one shot.

    It happens.

Rigo could beat the guys at 126, so why don't want to see it? Find a new sport. Fans like you RUIN boxing. I'm not watching Rigo beat guys at 118.

    HELL NO.

Neither will anyone else, including your dumbass.

Now tell us how you really feel about it.:rofl:rofl Rigo has a few more contenders at 122 don't know if they will sign. But then again who says fighters at 126 will sign to fight El Chacal.

He is small for his weight class I haven't watched much of him but he always looks like a weight class below his current weight I mean it looks silly even another jump probably wouldn't work

no faith? iv tons of faith in Rigo hence why i want to see him fight Inoue. The man is a tiny 122 pounder

tell me this is he could make 119 pounds as a fully grown man with same day weigh in, why shouldnt he drop down for a mega fight?

it makes more sense than stepping in the ring with someone who might have 20 pounds on you at fight night and a 4 inch height advantage

i think your the one who needs to find a new sport or at least follow it more closely

so your not interested in seeing Rigo move down in weight to fight a guy who is p4p top 10? and your obviously a casual fan

and outmatched?inoue would probebly be his toughest fight to date

what are you on about no money? this fight would be huge in Japan he would make a ton of money its a mega fight. there is a boxing world outside of merica, but i don't expect a casual to know that

    Makes more sense to who?

    You?

    Lol.

Good thing you're not running the networks. What mega fight is there at 118?

Moreno? Don't think so. Moreno vs Rigo would be one of the worst stylistic fights that could be made.

It would be at least as bad as Lara vs Trout, which was possibly the worst fight I've ever seen.

Fights like that don't gain viewers. Boxing is a spectator sport.

That's why people paid to see Pacquaio fight a guy like ODLH and Margarito, one which was a MASSIVE favorite over him, and one that outweighed him by 20 lbs.

If Rigo fought Walters or Loma, it would absolutely be on HBO. And Rigo clearly has the power to hurt both guys, so why not make the fight?

The only other guy I wouldn't mind seeing Rigo against is LSC who would put up a good fight, but be soundly beaten by Rigo.

122 is a fake weightclass anyway. He should fight at 126 which is an old school weight class and so should LSC.

This 122 bull**** is what hurts the sport.

I'd love to see him fight Inoue. But I think a move up for Rigo would be similar to Sergio Martinez's up to MW (with him getting dropped in many fights, even when he's dominating).

Too bad for Rigo, no one is chasing him (high risk/low reward bs).

That's why Martinez will be remembered as a greater fighter than Rigo.

    He was also more loved.

No casual fan knows who Rigo is.

    They don't care.

It doesn't matter how skilled Rigo is. If you want to make money, you have to take risks.

Martinez took a risk and he was a pleasure to watch for a few years. He even earned a PPV against Chavez and Cotto, although he was clearly past his prime and possibly shot against Cotto.

He made lots of fans and earned plenty of money.

I would absolutely watch Rigo vs guys at 126 because they would bring the best outta him.

The only guy that gives him a fan friendly fight at the fake weightclass of 122, is LSC.

People that take more risks DESERVE more money. They are the gladiators of the sport. Martinez was a gladiator.

People talk about fighting guys that outweigh you by 20 lbs, how many lbs was Martinez outweighed by Chavez???

And it's not like Chavez is a chump. Chavez can both box and fight. With more motivation, Chavez could actually be a great fighter.

Hopefully we can see Rigo do something similar. Martinez is one of my all time favorites. He was a testament that even fighters that use movement can have ***** too (his fights with Paul Williams and the way he took an L toe to toe w/Cotto).

i am on about him fighting Inoue which would be a mega fight, how often do you see 2 p4p top 10's fighting ever? have you even read the opening post or are you high and just made up your own version of it?

also being outweighedby 20 pounds at 160 is no where near as hard as being outweighed by 20 pounds at 122:good
