Some people are just ****ing stupid about weights, I mean it's clear that rigondeaux is a small man in his weight , I'm not impressed by mayweather beating maidana due to the 'size difference' they didn't look to far off to me you don't need someone telling you the weights to see this stuff

exactly, especially when he could fight the likes of Inoue and Gonzalez

Rigo made 119 as a fully grown man with same day weigh ins

the man could make 118 with ease and could even go lower without it effecting him at all

I get that, but Rigo is not going to make any money at 118, no matter who he fights.

    PERIOD.

He has to make a decision. Does he want the money???

    exactly man:good

also id have no problem with rigo moving up if there was no one to fight lower, but theres better legacy fights down there eg Gonzalez and Inoue (both p4p top 10) the fight would also make great money

he could easily go lower than 118 and get fights with inoue and gonzalez both p4p top 10 (huge legacy fight and would also make lots of money)

do i have to repeat this again

You think it would make great money compared to what?

    Would HBO show the fight?

    Would Showtime?

    Would Espn?

    No, no, and maybe.

He belongs naturally where he's at. A lot of the guys who weight climb are just cutters cutting less weight. Of course, that doesn't mean that you can't still climb weight classes, just that it is more difficult. Pac and Marquez probably belong down at 135 or 140 but they've scaled up to 147 because their skills are elite and they can fight bigger men. If Rigo is truly elite and p4p then he could do that too. That's the real meaning of p4p. It means you are naturally one weight but are so good that you could fight above that weight. Roberto Duran, Mickey Walker, and Henry Armstrong are the best examples of this. James Toney is a recent example of a much shorter man who managed to fight the biggest men in the sport through a combination of skill and pharmacology.

I don't think he is too small to fight in the FW. He didn't have a good chin so that's the risk of fighting heavier hitting opponents, but his punching power seems above average to me.

Going to BW or below might even make his chin more of an issue. He should just stay at 122lbs as he look very fit and comfortable and plenty of competition.

Imagine if Rigo cleans out 122 (LSC, Frampton) and then goes up to 126 and beats a monster like Walters?

    Top 3 p4p no doubt

500,000K in Japan wasn't bad for Rigo:good. Rigo making great money to fight even more unknown fighters (though they are or should be rated p4p) is a pipe dream.

    sure:lol:

beat the number 1 in his division in brutal fashion then jumped up two divisions to destroy the divisions number 1 in brutal fashion

if your unbias about your p4p list theres no way he can't be in it

but thats not likely to happen in america
