Is it me ? or am I the only one who thinks that Rigo has strong chin ? Maybe not granite but he has showed some moments that he can take shots. He also slugged with the hard hitting super bantamweight Julio Ceja, a really good display of chin. Rigo also reminds a lot of James Toney though, the reason why is cuz all of his knockdowns are more to lose of balance rather than the punch itself, (Donaire & Amagasa).

But with all of this, I hear people talk about Rigo's chin is not the best asset he has (referring Rigo's chin to be not that strong are tough). I just feel that Rigo does have a Great chin and possibly might be granite. What are your thoughts ?

I agree Rigo's chin is underrated (considering he should've been at 118 or even 115 from the start of his career) but he absolutely was rocked by Amagasa and it's not even debatable. He gets a pass for that though since Amagasa was a huge weight cutter.

Well- all things considered he must take a punch well because every one thrown at him after 3 rounds is with the intent to kill because he is while amazing so frustratingly irritating for his opponent and viewer alike. I have honestly fell asleep watching him nearly every time lol.

People forget how small Rigo is. His opponents are naturally bigger. Amagasa was around 140!
