My only complaint was that he decided to take a page from Floyd's book and hop on his bike and ride around the ring. Otherwise considering that this was only his 7th pro fight and he controlled a solid B+ fighter like that for 12 rounds impressed me.

The judge who had Cordoba winning is the very same who scored a draw for Rocky Juarez against Chris John.

Also to the TS, I would like to see your scorecard if you don't mind. I would REALLY like to know how you think Cordoba should have won.:think

I've never been more irritated with a fighter since Dirrell's disgraceful display against Stevenson. But this was the guys 7th pro fight fighting for a world title against a solid fighter, so I'll try to be nice.

Still though, he thinks he's better than he really is, trys way too hard to be perfect, doesn't have a great variety of punches and barely throws combos.

totally unimpressed with rigo. the test of a great fighter is in how he responds when he gets hurt. he failed the test miserably.

I blame the coach for trying to change guillermo's style, he should have stuck to what works.

It's because Shields in his new trainer, he's trying to turn Rigo into a certain boring Heavyweight we all know.

Rigo really needs to get Roach back as his trainer.

Bringing up another Cuban, I'm now afraid to see what Shields is going to do with Erislandy Lara...

in boxing there's only so much the trainer can do.. especially with a 30yr old fighter.. that fighter has his style already the trainers job is to get him in shape come up with a game plan and tweak some things.. the way rigo fought is his style so dont blame shields on this

    :hat

Very true. But still I think Roach would do a much better job overall.
