Man... You'all need yoh ass beat. The guy won a world title in 7 fights EASILY ! and you guys are complaining, Obviously most of you have never actually boxed, or don't understand the risk of being in there with against a one punch k.o opponent., what Rigondeux did last night is a boxers dream in a match, that's being 100% in control of your opponent. Rigondeaux looked calm as they come why risk it in 7 fights... he will have many more fights to show off his skills.
Rigondeaux went into full retreat after being hit flush by a hard jab. He will get beat by Nishioka, Vazquez Jr, and Caballero no matter how many fights he has. What he did after round six was ****ing disgusting and went into full retreat mode almost like Dirrell when he fought Curtis Stevens.
What's up internet veteran? Before the fight I recall you saying Rigeondeaux was going to batter his opponent, etc, etc. The fighter you were rooting for did not impress and was boring as hell. He literally ran away at times. Why are you so upset that I am criticizing him? Can one be objective without being labeled as a hater?
Objective? You talk about "objective" after you say he WILL be beaten by Nishioka, Vázquez and Caballero? Sorry, can't take that as objective or serious. He may be boring to you, but it's absolutely impossible to predict what he's gonna do against others after just his 7th fight and against a guy with a huge experience like Córdoba, who is taller and has much more reach.
I told you so. Fighters like these will bore the audience and kill our sport. It's been fighters like these why boxing is dying. They are like cancers. By the way, his style reminded me of somebody? :happy:happy:happy
Before the fight man you seemed absolutely positive Rigondeaux was going to dismantle Cordoba, but now you're defending his performance because of his "inexperience". Rigondeaux has had like what, 240 amateur fights? He claims to have seen it all, he should be fighting guys like Cordoba at this point, if not better due to his experience. I see your point, but I don't think he's going to have much room to improve unless he gets more offensive minded and that doesn't seem to be his game. Gamboa has impressed me much, much more than Rigondeaux.
Well done on tipping someone with 500 amateur bouts a cuban starlet already at a strong age. No one saw that coming. **** me. You gonna say theres someone called Floyd Mayweather who can box too now?
Give the guy a break, he won the Interim Belt in his 7th pro fight, going 12 rounds for the very first time, even with a great camp, I'm sure he has his doubts going 12th. He is a defensive fighter, and that is what he is, with time he will learn to open up a little bit more, but listen to Kellerman talking ****, was awful, he critizised Rigondeaux for not been agressive, then he was concern with Mike Jones for been too agressive, and the same with Gamboa, I think the guy doesn't like Cubans, he was talking about El Duque, but he is forgetting about Morales, Chapman, etc.. I'll not pay too much attention to his comments.
Rigo won that Fight Boxing like an Amateur.I think he needs a new trainer and also needs to watch other fighters tapes ( He says he don't like it ) so they can adjust his style, still Congratulations to Rigo . He is already in the records Book, and people don't forget it was only his 7th Fight !! He will make more History soon ! Mark my words !!
