    This guy should speak English:

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

    [yt]YgCtNsE7s2k[/yt]

Another memorable quote: "He thought he was gonna eat pies (pastelitos)."

About the knockdown: "Well, that was a good punch. This is boxing, you know if you get careless, you pay for it. So anybody can get hit. I got up and recovered."

Cubans definitely have plenty of experience swimming in deep water, so I trust his assessment here.

he boxed Donaires ears off, let me say this clearly won the fight no doubt.

But I think we have all learned a little more about Rigo after this fight, he is still an Amateur fighter with Pro traits. what I mean is the man has the skill of a pro but IMHO is a six round fighter at best.

Rigo dominated the first half of the fight so easily that by the time the 2nd half all he had to do and all he really did was simply get on his bike and walk away very little shots were thrown in this fight, the first half is were most of Rigos hots where thrown the 2nd half he just seemed to not fight.

Kid is so sound defensively that he is going to win allot of fights simply sweeping the first half and using his slickness and defense to win the 2nd half....

I would like to see Mares or Santa Cruz fight Rigo, a fighter who will pressure Rigo and bring a high work rate, someone who can get Rigo into the middle and late rounds and make Rigo work there, I mean what fighter simply stops throwing punches and moves away from his opponent for the 2nd half of the fight?

IMO thats a fighter who is used to going 4 rounds..... I think Rigo is a 6 round fighter

That is your definition of "deep waters". The Spanish sentence he said: Te dije que me lo iba a llevar para lo hondo y después me iba a llevar el bote." does not mean that.

Already beat Mares significantly in the AMs, it would be even easier work now.

Anyone saying that Rigondeaux is a six round fighter needs to watch round 12 again.

**** that, just watch the whole fight over again and pay attention next time.

    Rofl 6 round fighter

Donaire was on his bike the entire 12th round with his eye swelling up faster than Berto's was vs Guerrero.

Exactly, Rigo took Donaire to school and these cats saying he is a six round fighter. He utter dominated the 12th round and almost ko'd Donaire, yet he is a six round fighter? Double :patsch:patsch

You're allowed to coast when the other fighter, who is known as a big puncher, isn't taking rounds from you even while you're coasting.

He was still doing what he had to in order to bank rounds. He didn't do as much offensively, but his defense and footwork was just as sharp.

I get what you're saying, but a six round fighter gets himself KOd at this level of the game.
