Thats just exuse not to fight Rigo, if Rigo came to UK as he offered it woukd be huge UK fans know him and know that he is elite so they would be hyped up to support Carl. I think it would generate good money but they know Rigo wins this easy...

I'd like to actually see the fight, not just hear about how they can beat the man at 122. Leo said he would like to fight Rigo, but nothing ever came of it.

Who's he fighting again? Considering LSC is fighting on the biggest PPV's of the year, I expected him to fight someone worth mentioning.

Rigondeaux has become mythic in a little over a year on this site, now let me in laymen's terms be a mythbuster.
Is Rigo one of the most skilled talented boxers in the sport today YES, but that doesn't mean he is incapable of losing.

He beat Donaire which didn't shock me, in fact I knew it would happen, Donaire's decline didn't start with Rigo it started with Vazquez Jr and Mathebula, even though he won both fights he didn't look great in either of them. He was on a roll, and very left hook happy and when his opponent took his power well, he would have difficulty trying to adjust especially in the Mathebula fight. Rigondeaux is a superior boxer but skillwise Donaire is far from perfect, and his KO power is overrated 35 fights 21 KO's, isn't that amazing. Donaire wasn't mentally ready, he was distracted by events in his personal life and hadn't really put too much thought into what he was up against, he took him far too lightly. But still best win of Rigo's career.

Now what about the others, Joseph Agbeko not very impressive win especially due to the fact that he was coming into the match shellshocked, he was fighting the guy who just dethroned the king, wouldn't you be intimidated, the fight was lost before it began. He knew he didn't have the skills or the KO power, so what does that leave him with, he was collecting a paycheck. He was outboxed by Yonnhy Perez and Abner Mares twice. Mares hurt him bad in the first round of the first fight, so of course he will fear Rigo's power, and make him hesitant to engage.

Robert Marroquin he was 23 years old and decent but had fought nobodies so no big deal, he was unproven.
Rico Ramos seemed impressive at the time but since then he has been outboxed 3 times and been down countless times, maybe he wasn't very good to start with.

But here is the potential crack in his armor, Ricardo Cordoba who was KO'd and dropped 4 times by Bernard Dunne, so he doesn't have an iron chin but he made the fight very ugly and crowded Rigo and pressured him through much of the second half of the fight eventually losing in a SD, but managed to drop Rigo to a knee with a left hook, which affected him causing him to retreat for the rest of the round. Cordoba is also a southpaw which seemed to give him problems at times as well. He didn't win but he made Rigo look beatable.

Rigondeaux has KO power??? does he??? he hasn't KO'd 3 of his last 4 opponents, because he stepped up in competition and when you step up the chins get better. Showing maybe top tier guys have less to fear, Cordoba realized that and he didn't even have a great chin.

Frampton has 2 very impressive wins in his resume Kiko Martinez and Hugo Cazares. Neither man had ever been KO'd yet Carl stopped them both. He has a good chin, Kiko couldn't hurt him and he stopped Romero and Mathebula neither had been stopped before Donaire couldn't even stop Mathebula. Does Carl have the skills maybe not but may have the power, Donaire and Cordoba dropped Rigo, so he may not have the best chin. He can counter punch and stalk his opponent potential big threat to Rigo.

Santa Cruz could be a potential nightmare for Rigo, he has been walking through everyone he faces like a bulldozer stopping Morel for the first time something Mares couldn't do, his constant pressure and great Mexican chin would surely be a problem especially if Cordoba was, and Santa Cruz is far better a fighter than Ricardo. Granted Seda and Mijares were problems they were southpaws as is Rigo but he still beat them soundly, LSC is being written off far too easily based on workrate alone he may edge it, even if he can't stop Rigo.

Lomachenko is operating on the same level as Rigo, they are both natural counter punchers and southpaws which could be one of their undoing, someone will eventually have to press the fight and Vasyl's hand speed and combinations may prove hard for Rigo to deal with, as would his power if anyone can land on Rigo flush its Loma and if he can hurt a usually solid chinned welterweight version of Salido, he can definitely crack Rigo's questionable chin.

Is Rigo unbeatable I don't think so, people are buying into the hype a little too much, the first fighter who is unfazed by his counters and can get to him will pose a serious threat to everyone's new favorite flavor of the month.

Rigo would crack Jhonny's glass jaw without issue, outclass Frampton, Quigg, and Mares, KO Russell Jr., and make LSC look like Agbeko.

He would have problems with Walters and Lomachenko. Primarily due to their size.

I'm consistent I've always been down on Rigo, and his glass jaw soon be completely shattered by one of the aforementioned guys
