"Donaire is ducking him"- the only thing people have to say with regard to how great Rigo is.
Nothing about quality opponets he's knocked out, nothing about devistating power and speed he displays in fights.
This guy is becoming the most overrated fighter in the sport

If you don't see how special Rigondeaux is then you don't know **** about boxing.

And its quite hard to get good fights if the whole division is literally scared shitless of you.

Probably, would be a good fight though. I think Donaire can win rounds off activity, as Rigo tends to be very tenative with his punches. Very accurate when he throws, but doesnt throw enough, and does not have extreme power either. Definitely seems to fight with points in mind, ala his vast amateur background.

And Donaire is pretty slick himself, just as fast as Rigo, More powerful, and a damn good chin as well. Not sure why people think this would be an easy win for Rigo, when he has yet to fight anyone who is even close to being as good as Nonito

Nobody's saying Rigo isnt a 'special' fighter. Technically he is very good. But hes not the monster people are making him out to be

You're exactly the kind of idiot that annoys the hell out of realistic boxing fans who actually like Rigondeaux

A little contradiction here; you said he fights amateurish with points in mind( wich requires throwing more punches)and at the same time you say he doesn't throw enough.
I'll tell you what you miss. Rigo throws enough Effectives punches, and he barely gets hit.He doesn't waste punches, he measures his targets.
what happens with judges( specially those in a payroll)is that they overlook the fact of people just throwing any kind of **** with no power or no effect and score it like points( like PW against Lara or Rios against Abril, instead they got it right on Mathebula vs Nonito)

Pointing out someones vcash total is the last vestage of an idiot with nothing to say.

What else can I expect from someone who takes their name and catchphrase from a crackhead

No contradiction at all. I said he is tenative on offense. We both acknowledge that he throws very little, but when he does, hes very accurate. I said this more than once. He seems content with landing a smaller amount of punches, so long as he doesnt get hit back (points management). So I dont see where the contradiction. I didnt say he fights amaturish (like wily or untrained), I meant he fights like hes keeping track of every point/punch landed, and just focusing on outscoring on a points basis.

Not that theres anything wrong with Rigos style, thats not what im saying. What I am saying, is that people saying stupid **** like "Donaire would have no choice but to be put to sleep" makes no sense being as though Rigo is not a ko artist. IF Rigo beats Donaire it would most likely be by points win, in a fairly slow fight. As you acknowledge Rigo is a hit and not get hit accurate puncher. He doesnt focus on power, nor is he a devistating hitter. So all this "Rigo would definitely ko donaire" and "Rigo would have ko'd Mathebula in 2" talk is stupid, because thats not the kind of fighter Rigo is
