None of that has anything to do with Donaire acting like he's ducking Rigo, avoiding him at the very least. Donaire doesn't mention Rigo at all as a possible opponent. Why not? Was Mathebula a bigger name? Or was he an easy fight?

Mares needs to take on Rigo as well, but at least he just fought in the tournament. Nishioka and Moreno needs to move up and all these guys need to start fighting each other. This **** better get done by late this year or early next year.

I don't like to speculate of how and in what rd Rigo wins against Nonito.
The way i see it is simple: they are the 2 more exciting fighters at 122,under the same promoter, fans want the fight and one of them its ready for war.The other one says he isn't interested.
i know Nonito is lately being tagged too much and his defense looks vulnerable.
his power is still there but he's abandoned his boxing abilities and going swinging for the fences.Mathebula looks horrible on his feet, i mean horrible. And Nonito was just headhunter all night.Unless he becomes more cautious, against Rigo he'll pay for those mistakes.

The guy is a legit fighter and the only flaws he has are a suspect Chin and his amateur habit of not aggressively seeking the KO when it is in within obvious reach. If you don't think that he's a match for anybody at SBW or FW you are delusional.

I hope this Donaire - Rigondeaux rivalry doesn't end up being another virtual war like with *****s and *******s.

I agree man, I think this is a fight Nonito should take just because he looks like a ***** for not taking it. Despite the fact that Rigo really hasnt done anything at the pro level yet

I agree dude, especially with Nonito's overzealous style. he needs to let the ko develop naturally, he has massive power. Just let it come to you like it came against Vic. He seems like he has it in his mind that he can knock anyone out, so he sacrifices everything else in favor of the ko. If he is able to calm himself and focus on polish, allowing the ko to come with the time is right he would be a untouchable.

As Far as Rigo and this fight goes, theres no doubt the guy is sharp as **** and can fight. This fight needs to happen. All im saying is that people should wait to see him in the ring with someone world class like Donaire before we start calling him the second coming. He really didnt fight anyone on that level so we really dont know how he would handle someone like Nonito coming at him that aggressively with his combination of speed and power.

What are you talking about? I agree the hype for Rigo has grown a bit quickly, he went from underrated after the Cordoba fight to maybe a bit overrated after his last couple but Rigo IS a devastating puncher. Just because he's a counter puncher who doesn't throw many punches doesn't mean he's not a knockout artist. Even in the amateurs he was putting guys to sleep, he is a tremendous puncher especially with the left to the body. He does focus on power, when do you see him throw half hearted punches? He feints and then throws 100% when he finds a spot.

why are people mad because Donaire been lookin like **** lately, im a fan of his but if you think he can beat Rigo your delusional you think them wild uppercuts gonna hit Rigondeaux, some fighters are special you can see it as soon as they step in the ring, i think Rigo gonna be undefeated til he retires the guy has perfected his lil style of takin half steps back and timin the counter, people say about steppin up his competition but his style is so awkward he will just do the same thing to everyone even Donaire, he will have Nonito missin all night and makin him look silly, the Pac fans always hatin on black people lol their hurt
