No, Rigondeaux is probably too much of a good sportsman to sucker punch someone. His extensive amateur career gave him a sense of honor in the ring.

If you really dismissed his comment, you wouldn't have commented yourself, Zakman.

Exactly, and the same standards of sportsmanship apply. The only out I give Mayweather is that Ortiz showed how much of a punk he was by head butting intentionally, but the sucker punch was just as bad and ultimately, I believe, was bad for Mayweather and the fans. It was a lousy ending and gave Mayweather haters ammo. Mayweather should have just continued owning him and frustrating Ortiz. He didn't need to do that and I know Rigo never would given his respect for the sport.

Who cares, the real problem is people trying to down him because he's "boring". That doesn't matter to me as long as you're fighting your greatest challenges. If people can't figure him oh well, because there an is answer, there always is, boxing is ultimately a strategy sport and negative post like these say your a fan but don't believe that, that's sad.

The problem fighter's have against Rigo is they stand in front him too much, and when he throws that straight he has it so perfected he makes it look like he's making a defensive move, then bam, they're hit with a punch because not keying in on his tell, and because the punch is thrown so straight it arrives quickly and inconspicuously since it's to gauge the depth/distance of something coming directly between your eyes. Perfection can also be a downfall, remove the ability for his straight to land with lateral movement away from it and he may become ordinary by way of being frustrated.

I would say Rigo do separate the pure fans from the popcorn-fans.
    All good fighters admire Rigo.

Like somebody said Agbeko did not want to fight beacuse he felt Rigo was on another level

Rigo have 7 Ko in 13 fights this is more than 50% you are talking about Hopkins last Ko was in 2004, ten years ago against Oscar de la Hoya, think twice if you believe Ward have more power than Rigo in their division.
