He's already 32 as he fought only 11. He hasn't fought any noted fighters in his career. I don't think he deserves to be #1 contender in the 122 division. He should fight Mares or Arce first.

How can you dispute the fact that your fight is a nothing but overrated. He got knocked down by an unknown fighter like Cordoba. Nonito will whip his ass big time.
Rigo is already 32 but has fought only 11.

For only having 11 fights his level of comp is very solid. He's also got wicked skills that even a non boxing fan could tell apart from an average fighter. The knockdown doesnt concern me as there have been many fighters who have been dropped early in their careers and still went on to shining careers. His age and lack of fights is a concern though. Little guys seldom fight to an advanced age by boxing standards so he needs to get a move on if he's going to make a lasting impression with his career. I'd pick Donaire over him right now, but 18 months down the road may be a different story. Way overrated is a bit of an exaggeration. He's a tad bit overrated but with great potential in my opinion.

But he hasn't fought all tomato cans. He's being brought along the correct way for a pro with only 11 fights.

And who are these fighters that he beat? I want to see Mares, Arce, Montiel, Darchinyan, etc. in his resume. I think he's not yet ready for Donaire.

What has Rigo done? lol only fought 11 pro fights,
Who got dropped with a jab by cordoba and only squeezes in by Split Decision and got Stunned by Marroquin.
Vasquez, Montiel, Arce, or Darchinyan will be a great test for Rigo.
Donaire's Resume is more Impressive and he has been tested more.

    Nonito Donaire's Resume:

Donaire has fought the bigger names and the better opposition.

    Toshiaki Nishioka
    Wilfredo Vazquez jr
    Omar Narvaez
    Fernando Montiel
    Hernan Marquez
    Vic Darchinyan
