The 400+ amateur fights attests to his skill.
The destruction of Donaire in his 12th pro-fight confirms it.

Rigo is one of the most skilled boxers in the history of the game, it would be great if we could ever see the two fight, but sadly it will never happen due to their different sizes.

Isn't Rigo a hair over five feet? How is he supposed to move up weight? He would have way too much muscle for his primary attribute which is speed.

He is one of the most skilled boxers of all time that's a given but picking someone with 12 fights as a pro over someone with 44 fights and 17 years in,I'm not seeing it.In a 12 round fight who do you think would win?

You say that as if Rigo hasn't proven himself as a pro. He destroyed title holder Ramos, then made a 10 year pro and consensus top 5 P4P fighter like Donaire look like a amateur for 12 rounds.

Rigo is the real deal and as a pro anyone in his division has a real problem on their hands. Unfortunately for him Mares and Donaire are gone from his division and the only fight he has is LSC who I think would be outmatched, also GBP doesn't want LSC anywhere near Rigo, they are pushing a LSC v. Mares fight.

Mayweather would knock this glass jawed fraud out COLD. probably with a jab  :rofl

Rig got lucky against Donaire, I don't think he'll be so lucky when they eventually rematch.

The guy was confined in Cuba for gosh sakes. Ask Donaire about his pro resume and experience. He was telling anyone willing to listen Rigo didn't belong in the ring with him.

    apparently....

Rigo has skills to burn but Floyd is the ring general, and even past his peak he's still dominant, Floyd has way more dimensions to his game than Rigo ever will

Isn't Rigo 32 years old, Floyd isn't at a huge age disadvantage, only 4 year age difference.

    Ah hello Bama

Yes but Floyd has a far longer, far more substantial pro career, let's see where Rigo is in say, 2 years time, and then we can make a fairer comparison

I'm not shitting on Rigo, he just has big shoes to fill if we are comparing him with Floyd professionally

Like I said Rigo has 400+ fights, he is no spring chicken himself and probably has as many total rounds as Floyd.

Also this isn't a professional resume comparison, this is a comparison of them skill wise as fighters in a hypothetical matchup.

No problem with your opinion at all, I said in my first post I think Floyd would take it in a hypothetical matchup.

That said I still think you have a hypothetical matchup of top 5 P4P boxing skill fighters here and neither should be denigrated.

Donaire is so overrated I don't even want to go there.
