chef whats stewards thoughts on roadwork?

i know guys like nazim richardson and roach let the conditioning coach do their job but they make sure road work is done, alot of conditioning coaches try taking roadwork out but these coaches MAKE SURE its done.

Manny lets the conditioning coach do it...or in wlads case, wlad sets his non ring work workouts. but no more roadwork. now its swimming and manny seems to have added the same for his other fighters.. swimming and "roadwork" in the ring

no. He does it himself. so much experience, he knows what works for him. over the last 5 years I have it all written down but Wlad already knows what works for him

Roach would not teach Rigo the american style of boxing. He would make sure that Rigo could fight in every style.

Irrespective of whether or not he is right or wrong, it is a shitty attitude to have (if indeed that is the case) when your basically at the start of your career as a PROFESSIONAL boxer. That word, professional, includes everything from the style of fighting, his dedication to training and his attitude to the game and its trainers as it is.

Sorry, but this does not send off good vibes for me, and i am a big big rigondeaux fan. If this is a true reflection of his attitude, well then unfortunately I dont see him going as far as I once anticipated (which was a long long way).

There is no problem with the Cubans, and they are here to stay and kick some a$$es in the meantime, so deal with it. Rigo will be just fine and Roach only pay attention to his Majestic PacRoid.

He just left a trainer that he didn't like, I don't c any attitud problem, hey this is not a Holy Matrimony and even if it was you can get divorce, is better to leave early than stay too long, if he didn't like the way he was treated why stay, he is paying the guy to do a job, and I know of countless fighters that had left Roach, if Rigo stay in the game he will be a Champ in a matter of months.

jeff mayweather took just the opposite approach with Caballero. When he came to the USA to train for the first time, Jeff opted to put him in the very busy Richard Steele's gym. He wanted Celestino to have a chance to be seen by a lot of people. He wanted the others to be around a champion and give celestino a chance to expose himself to people who didnt know him.

Roach pays attention to pac when he needs to (btw pac only fights 2 or 3 times a year), just like he does with khan, vanes martirosyan or anyone else who's got a fight coming up.

all trainers do that, look at Joe Goossen's gym, he has many top fighters and spreads his time equally.

or how about ronnie shields, he has lara, diaz, juarez, cintron and quiet a few others.

from what i hear Rigo isn't even going with Roger (who also has a few fighters he trains), his searching for a coach in miami.

I wonder who his new trainer will be...? Floyd Senior could do wonders with him

you can't blame the kid for feeling that way considering he is thee most athletic prospect in boxing.
